Stafford was carrying the Lions so hard this year that he actually broke bones in his back!

His floor was last year pre-injury. I'm not trying to proclaim he's a bust or anything, but potential doesn't mean much until it's realized. We'll have to wait and see. I'm losing confidence in the current offensive staff's ability to get him there.

It's pretty much right in line with Dak, actually. Dak was 3,324 passing yards, 28 TDs, 13 INTs, and 357 rushing yards.

Quite the mentor too. Look at what's happening to Baker without him! Lamar is far improved from last year, the staff is building around his skillset, and they seem to have some complimentary pieces in place for him. I still don't understand why more coaches don't do this. O'Brien did it with Watson, clearly kliff is doing it with Kyler. Ravens are doing it with Lamar. Seattle did it early on with Russ. Etc.

B. Did just what he needed to, limited turnovers, and the O scored whenever it needed to, to keep the game out of reach for the skins.

A couple interesting notes: Allen has now played 8 3rd quarters this season. He has 291 passing yards in those 8 quarters. Some folks around here are clamoring for a 300 yard game, well that's 2 games worth of time and still not 300 yards! We've passed the ball 146 times in the first half and only 97 times in the second half. Maybe some data to back up the taking our foot off the gas arguments? If you include Allen's rush attempts he's had 200 attempts for 1094 yards in the first half and 125 attempts for 688 yards in the second half. 75 fewer attempts in the second half seems like a lot...

For the team? Yeah, basically. Claim him if you're okay with the contract, want exclusive first dibs on signing him, and a chance at a comp pick if he doesn't re-sign with you. Don't claim him if you prefer to offer a UFA style contract, but someone else may claim him.
