  2. I'm hypothesizing that Butler was scouted by Beane, and ultimately drafted for McDermott's defense. McDermott left and the fit wasn't quite the same.
  3. We can save $5.5M if we trade Star post 6/1. If he doesn't earn his spot in camp he's on the block.
  4. Let's just steal Seattle's line and grab Clowney and Reed
  5. Its 1(22), 5(168), and 6(202) this year plus a 4th next year per TDN's order
  6. Beane was the one who originally brought Addison to the Panthers from Washington's PS. Our new DL coach worked with him extensively in Carolina. Lots of familiarity all around.
  7. A for me. Get a proven WR who's 26 and on a team friendly deal and still have 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7 this year to do damage in the draft.
  8. But it isn't by any chart except that jank site you posted. Every other chart puts the value between 16 and 19
  9. So ~$9.5M in 2020 money for Addison.
  10. Up to $9M, so maybe he doesn't get 4.5 per. Depends on the incentives.
  11. From a dynasty perspective I agree, but the reality is we've got a 2-3 year window of cheap Josh Allen.
  12. I'd agree with that. But to say he stunk in 2018 is silly.
  13. I hope that one day our qb stinks his way to 70% completions on 600 attempts for 4300 yards and 30 tds
  14. Not to mention, after the diggs move this is an o people might want to be a part of. Diggs, brown, Beasley, room to upgrade at te, and Singletary (unless an rb figures to slot ahead of him)
  15. It reads to me like Gordon's team asked beane what he'd be willing to pay lol
  16. Agreed to in principle, but not finalized
  17. Eh, #3 overall pick carries some weight and he probably wants to get paid, but I'd tend to agree
  18. Thomas is at the end of his contract too
  19. JJ Watt - Texans save $15.5m with 0 dead cap - BOB is silly Cam Heyward - last year of his deal, saves Pitt $9.5m Solomon Thomas - end of rookie deal and 49ers just paid Armstead Joey Bosa - on 5th year option, LA saves $14.36m Sheldon Rankins - on 5th year option, NO saves $7.69m Just spitballing.
  20. Did he get tagged? I thought he was FA
  21. News on Clowney has been pretty quiet, fwiw
