  1. I'm pretty sure he shook McD's hand at the game last year. It was a tacet agreement to come play for us. How did you miss it?
  2. @Golden Goat and the Broncos are on the clock
  3. I honestly think he'd be really good at it. And it'd be a nice way to stay involved in the sport after a miserable injury, even if he is still attempting to recover.
  4. Not saying he should go straight to MNF, but with the success of Romo I've gotta wonder if Alex Smith gets a job in the booth somewhere.
  5. No worries, they've had a crap ton of picks lol
  6. So, to be clear, based on your math we've used 4 picks on WR, the draft isn't even here, and we've acquired 1 WR. Correct? Every single WR after the top 3 is replacement level. Jordan Love with pick 18. Unless this is a dig at Love, in which case carry on.
  7. I think Virgil and wppete went on a socially distanced vacation together!
  8. I thought about including Simpson, and Albert O...
  9. It really depends on who's there come pick 54. If it's a Hamler, Reagor, Aiyuk, or Higgins type you pull the trigger for value. They can contribute year 1 and potentially save us money or let us dangle a vet for value next year.
  10. Eason, Anae, Uche, Z. Moss, or Dillon?
  11. Gonna keep banging the Chris Thompson drum
  12. Feel free to watch the whole thing, but specifically look at the first two catches from the Pitt game (queued there). Opposite ends of the spectrum of roles he can play.
  13. His overall body of work isn't really impressive at first glance. In his 3 years at Tech he racked up 59 catches for 748 yards and 8 TDs. He always seemed to show up when needed though. Against Miami last year he was a complete mismatch for their LBs. In 2018 he capped off our 98 yard game winning drive against UNC. Against Duke he broke a screen pass for a 67 yard td, shedding a couple tackles along the way. Against UVA in 2018, with our streak on the line and around 2 minutes left in the 4th, he caught a long pass on 3rd and 10 to extend what would be our game winning drive. Add to that his versatility. He played TE, RB, and LB in HS and he'll happily contribute on STs. He's incredibly competitive (see his placements from the combine) and absolutely a process guy. Was on the acc all-academic team too, which I would imagine McBeane likes. He's a chess piece that Daboll could really use. Line up in a heavy set and then flex him out to the slot, use him as your short yardage bruiser (6'4" 250), or use him as a lead blocker. Or do the inverse, go with 4 spread out to get their small personnel out, then motion him to FB and break a nice run. He'd do it all. Could easily see him pushing DiMarco out next year, if not this year. He'd haul in that wheel route pass ?
  14. Ben Bartch, OT, St. John Michael Ojemudia, CB, Iowa Neville Clarke, CB, UCF Ke'Shawn Vaughn, RB, Vanderbilt Dalton Keene, TE, Virginia Tech Trevon Hill, EDGE, Miami Bryce Perkins, QB/, Virginia
  15. I'd love to see the documentation on that. Really? Not Italy with double the cases per capita and a 12.5% mortality rate? Not Spain with almost triple the cases per capita and a nearly 10% mortality rate?
  16. Agreed, he got my vote. He has some learning to do, but he'd have Hughes to learn from. These mocks are always funny to me because there are clear board favorites that always go higher than they should. Keeps me on my toes.
  17. We can take it a step further too. Let's assume that everyone tested was showing symptoms and only 20% of people show symptoms. That'd push the number to a whopping 0.5% of the population, and it would push the mortality rate down to 0.6%.
  18. Well, we're at day 77 since the first confirmed case, and we have confirmed that 0.1% of the US population has it. But, you know, if 60% of the US has it and the mortality rate is 2% then 4 million people will die.
  19. With the 66th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Redskins select Cole Kmet, TE, Notre Dame. Jordan Reed is an FA and wasn't reliably healthy even when he was on the team. Kmet provides a nice outlet for our young QB room. @Buffalo Junction and the Lions are on the clock.
  20. I view Gibson as CMC-lite, and a good compliment to Motor. The other 3 are late round fliers to see what sticks. I'm of the mindset that our day 3 picks are roster long shots anyway based on where we're at, so I took WRs with upside to compete for depth and STs. Similar to when we took Ray Ray and proehl. If I can't get a high end prospect, I'll take multiple shots. Areas of need are RB2, CB2, WR4, EDGE talent, and potentially TE.
  21. make WR depth like the hunger games. Earn your spot.
  22. This is exactly why I refuse to interact with that poster in any way. Went through a very similar discussion a while back and realized that they have no interest in actual discussion. Just blasts links with no information, biased interpretation, or blatantly false information and ignores any information provided by the other side.
  23. Well, they're using a semi to complete her move ??
