  1. He stated that he would not sign if a team drafted him after the 3rd round. Per the CBA, if he was drafted in 2015 and did not sign with his team he would be eligible to enter the 2016 NFL Draft, and the team that drafted him in 2015 would not be eligible to select him. Because he went undrafted he is not eligible for next year's draft, and thus he chose to sign with someone. It is also worth noting that because he was a UDFA, his contract is up a year earlier than if he was drafted, so if he performs well he will get a big contract a year sooner than if he was drafted in the later rounds. All in all, it appears teams passed on him altogether due to some combination of lack of information about his situation and a fear of him possibly not signing and then losing the rights to him next year as well.
  2. Justin Blalock Anthony Collins Dan Connolly
  3. From my understanding he was obligated to turn them over, per the CBA, once they were requested by the investigator. Brady may have sent a text to anyone that could have implicated him. Remember, It had to be relevant to the investigation, not just relevant to the other 2 stooges.
  4. He didn't turn over relevant text and email correspondence. He did not fully cooperate.
  5. That'd be an easier pill to swallow if, I don't know, Brady actually cooperated with the investigation
  6. 1) Goodell will have final say on the punishment one way or another. Either by review, or through an appeal from the Pats* 2) Troy did not play for the Pats*
  7. I believe Orlando Franklin was on the Broncos, and is now on the Chargers
  8. No texts shown between McNally and Brady, but there are a few between Brady and Jastremski.
  9. Yeah, I guess that's the standard to prove there was a violation, not necessarily to determine punishment
  10. Footnote 1, page 1: 1 Under the Policy, the “standard of proof required to find that a violation of the competitive rules has occurred” is a “Preponderance of the Evidence,” meaning that “as a whole, the fact sought to be proved is more probable than not.”
  11. but Did you pick his brain btw, Dave?
  12. I started going down that road, but found it more entertaining to let him keep digging a hole with is official Patriots* shovel
  13. It states that they were running out of time before the 2nd half needed to start I believe
  14. Tell me, how do you bring someone up that you don't know?
  15. I believe that the attorney's turning over the text/email logs would have come with a statement from the attorney stating that the logs included any and all relevant information, but I could be wrong.
  16. That's not what they asked for. They allowed Tom's representation to sift through everything and only hand over texts and emails relevant to the investigation, he still declined.
  17. Right, I don't doubt that it's been done before. I'm genuinely curious how often it actually happens after inspection though. I know Rodgers said he tries to sneak in a few balls that are overinflated prior to inspection, but does he have guys who secretly pump them up (accidental commercial pun) after the inspection is done?
  18. I agree, just saying it's not like he never did anything after he left NE
  19. Dad's gonna say what Dad's gonna say, but he obviously doesn't understand the difference between a criminal court case and an Integrity of the Game Investigation.
  20. Didn't he have an 11-5 pro bowl season with the chiefs?
  21. Is it common practice by teams to alter the PSI after a ball has been inspected and approved by the officials? I'd like a link to data supporting that.
  22. The league wants the most viewers possible. The question is what draws more viewers, Tom Brady and the Pats* or the Pats* possible demise without Tom Brady? I think the majority of fans would vote the latter.
  23. If we're lucky he won't, the public will be in outrage, and he will suspend Belichick indefinitely as a kneejerk response a la Ray Rice.
