  1. If Gay proves a competent punter we could see Schmidt cut for an extra skill player
  2. But what if he underperformed even his 'Meh' status and isn't worth the $4M?
  3. So you admit you're wearing really pathetic shoes? I'm relaxed, you're the one slinging accusations. I have no idea what you're referring to here, but go ahead and paint me into that opinion you want me to have again. We have 2 QB's who are 25 years old and still developing on the team, why do you refuse to acknowledge one?
  4. Hey, there's Woods in my backyard. And Watkins Glenn is a pretty good race still!
  5. I just wanted to make sure your paraphrase was signed appropriately
  6. Fine, how about Tampa Bay? And no, I never wanted Geno Smith. Your act is really pathetic and you need to stop projecting broad strokes onto anyone with a rational attitude.
  7. No, you aren't. I brought up the first bad game that came to my head specifically in response to a question you asked and you dismissed me and the game entirely. You are absolutely not open to the idea he could be less than good. You also love to point out his small sample size, yet you belittle me and my thoughts on Tyrod. Where is his sample size?
  8. And apparently I am a hater for wanting either (or better yet, both) of the 25 year old QB's on the roster to work out for us and having a preference for the one I watched play throughout his (and my) college careers.
  9. Don't worry, things will start to work themselves out in 6 weeks when they start wearing pads.
  10. Good for him. Confidence is much better than being tentative!
  11. So because he hasn't been given a chance he shouldn't be? Please enlighten me, if EJ was drafted to Baltimore how many games would he have started the last 2 years? How much game time would he have seen? Tyrod preformed admirably in his preseason games thus far, you can look some of that up if you want (to your 2nd point). RavensInsider did an interview on WGR earlier this week talking WRT Tyrod. He has watched him practice and prepare for 4 years now. He believes that Tyrod would perform well, but you'll never know until you let him do it. In the end, Tyrod has been stuck behind a Super Bowl MVP QB for his entire career. He has no significant NFL game tape, good or bad, to speak of. EJ has NFL game tape. Some is good, some is bad. If you want compelling NFL game film that shows EJ is better then watch his highlight reel, if you want compelling NFL game film that shows Tyrod is better than EJ watch the Houston game from last year.
  12. I don't know where you get this notion from. I myself have stated many times, in multiple threads, that I believe Tyrod will be our starter but I wouldn't be upset at all if any QB wins and plays well for us. The only victor that would concern me is Cassel, and it's only because that would mean we are still looking for our long term answer. And I have seen many posters share that sentiment, or at least the latter half of it while subbing in EJ at the beginning.
  13. That makes more sense. I was wondering why they were checking up on EJ and Tyrod's 40 times
  14. Definitely, I think it'll be no huddle at more of a Manning pace than a Philly pace thanks to the motion and formations Yeah, he said he would let his play do the talking in a way that made him seem like he was ready. I think he believes he can exceed the already high expectations being placed on him, but he doesn't want to yap about it, he just wants to do it.
  15. I'm going with Aaron Rodgers as a dark horse #1 with no clear cut workhorse RB's outside of Lynch
  16. I don't disagree, but maybe Roman looks at the defenses in our division and thinks the best way to beat them is to limit their rest and time to react.
  17. That is certainly a risk you take with this concept, but it's an idea that has gotten Philly 20 wins in the last 2 seasons. I think it will hinge on turnovers more than 3 and outs
  18. In actual context it was tied to the timing and motions comment. It sounds like the plan is lining up quickly in the right place, motion to cause confusion/get a read, run play, very little down time, repeat. Which could cause tremendous pressure on the defense as well as wear them down physically. Color me excited
  19. No problem, wish there was more to them haha
  20. Percy: - Lot of progress for the offense with timings and motions - Very fast paced offense - Sky is the limit for the offense because you can't key on any single weapon or position group - Came here because it looks like a complete team that can be special in all 3 phases - Still a goal to become a more polished, true receiver - Has a high comfort level with the coaching staff Gilmore: - On pace to go full speed at TC - Likes the physical nature of the scheme, allows him to make plays - Excellent scheme for disguises and creating chaos - Doesn't want to talk about 'Revis Role', would rather let his play do the talking - Feels he can play smarter with experience instead of just playing on athleticism, cited Graham as helping with that
  21. Tebow took over full time duty and won a heisman and national championship, sound familiar?
