Even Whaley pulled the if only card on that catch in his interview As far as making the team, has Thompson gotten any reps for returns? I thought he did a bit of that with Baltimore. His competition may be Thigpen, which would be tough.

Definitely will still get a good feel for him. The only part that really upsets me is the RB's, because it looks like Tyrod is the only serious run threat which removes an entire element of the offense for Roman. Ignoring that EJ was against the 3's and not the 1's, at least he had Bryce Brown and Karlos Williams for a quarter. But who knows, maybe one of these guys will step up and pull a CJ Anderson.

It's who he's with and against. But either way I think he'll be alright. Passing may be more difficult without a real running threat outside of the QB though.
