The TD is worth 6 whether it is passed in or ran in. He's delivered 2 catchable balls to Thompson in the endzone and they haven't been caught. He's also only had 6 possessions, so the sample size is pretty small to just assume he can't do it.
It's a desperation move by the Pats*. They see the writing on the wall that Brady* isn't getting out of his suspension so they need to tip that game more in their favor. Jastremski planted the substance in Bryant's test kit!
Exactly. Everyone in the locker room needs to know that the starting position was earned. After Saturday it'd be hard to argue that EJ or Tyrod didn't earn it considering where they started image-wise.
That's weird, I thought the narrative going into camp was is the QB going to be EJ or Cassel while conveniently leaving Tyrod out of the discussion entirely, and it stayed that way for a pretty decent amount of time.
Agreed on all fronts. I wasn't really defending the post so much as trying to connect the dots. I've been consistent with how I've tried to present the preseason stats myself (points vs possessions), but all in all the stats are pretty pointless.
In regards to Tyrod, I think he counted the missed FG in the Cleveland game by saying it wasn't Tyrod's responsibility to make the kick.
And Cassel has had 2 possessions which led to 1 missed chip shot FG by Gay.
