  1. It's a blue collar city that will appreciate him, and it's close enough that he could keep his residence in Buffalo if he so desired.
  2. So does he go to Pats*, Jacksonville, somewhere else?
  3. Sal Capaccio ‏@SalSports 1m1 minute ago The Bills are releasing RB Fred Jackson.

  5. Ah, fair enough. I definitely think the deep ball has a nice place in the offense we're building. I just expect it to be a wildcard, not a method to maintaining drives. I do think our best shot against Indy will be to keep Luck off the field as much as possible though.
  6. The Jets were 1 of 2 teams in week 1 to have less than 200 yards of total offense. They seem to be hit or miss
  7. Your point seemed to be that the long sustained drives somehow lead to less points, and subsequently less wins. I was pointing out that even with EJ's big deep ball plays, he hasn't outscored Tyrod by much despite additional attempts. If that's completely off base then my bad, I'm just getting caught up with this topic and your comment stood out.
  8. You do realize that this preseason EJ has led us to 5 more points than Tyrod, with 4 extra possessions to do so, right? And 7 of EJ's points came from a 3 play drive involving 0 passing plays. But please, keep getting caught up in the more points argument.
  9. To your first point, he was playing with and against 3's. Are you saying that our 3's are worse than their 3's? To your second point, EJ had 39 points on 13 Drives (One of which was a TD that involved 3 Fred Jackson runs and no passing attempts), Tyrod had 34 points on 9 Drives.
  10. I think a lot of that can be credited to more time in cleaner pockets. But I'm sure DeBerg and Lee are helping, I just don't think they are the biggest factors.
  11. It's not even his coaching imo. It's the O-Line coaching and a proper scheme from his OC that are leading to his success.
  12. I don't know what you're on about. We haven't lost a game since Rex took the job!
  13. replacement for Goodwin if he goes on IR with his Ribs
  14. I believe RedZone will be providing free coverage during our timeslot that day as well
  15. Staying consistent with Tyrod.
  16. Goodness can we please change the title on this?
  17. Simms threw one against Carolina
  18. Just like last week. At least we got a couple RB's back!
  19. EJ has had some pretty good passes in preseason, and should represent a deep threat until any injury to his arm/shoulder forces him to check down more and be accurate...then what? Seriously though, can we let the QB's play a bit before we rule them out because they might get injured?
  20. I hope they prep like you think. Should bode well for us.
  21. So you don't think that their defense will prepare for our offense? Or you don't think that preparation will differ based on our selection? Nobody is saying our QB is better than theirs, but QB's don't face each other on the field anyway, so I really don't understand your last point.
  22. Yeah, I'm guessing separate names for the Stadium and Field. I wouldn't be upset if the new stadium had Ralph Wilson Field and a revenue generating sponsor for the stadium (maybe General Mills?) It'd get nicknamed the big Cheerio
  23. Yep. Media is just getting confused because they're trying to infuse a meaning that they want into a story it doesn't fit with.
