  1. So you don't think 33 points a game and top 10 in most major statistics it enough and it'll take 4 more years to figure it out?
  2. Your schtick is old, especially for someone who claims to know about the game. Our offense was averaging 33 points a game when healthy, then it's 2 best players went down and the production suffered. Our QB isn't Brady or Manning, he can't make up for that heavy of losses, but to say he absolutely can not be "the guy" because of stats from games without our best playmakers is flat out ignorant.
  3. You do realize that our offense has scored 21 or more points every game that we've had Sammy and Shady, right?
  4. He was making a joke because you don't know how to spell
  5. Probably Dalton, Bernard, and M. Jones
  6. The last time we put up 21 points was the last time we had Sammy and McCoy on the field. Week 3 did happen after week 2.
  7. Yeah, it was a bit worse than I expected, but certainly not terrible. The problem is the people who think our offense is better with EJ, or the people claiming today might have been the best day for a Bills QB this season.
  8. Sammy: 5 catches, 72 yards Shady: 12 carries, 62 yards, TD 4 catches, 34 yards Bills win 20-17
  9. No, no, no. You can tie in the regular season. Just ask McNabb, he knows the rule.
  10. You must be thinking of another play, this was after a 24 yard run and was by no means a sack...
  11. Reopening a battle and unseating the starter are two different things. Either way, let's just hope he looks good today before we look too far down the road.
  12. it's also been without it's best players for 2 of those 3, and I believe our running backs have averaged ~2.5 YPC over the last 2 games
  13. Well I'm hoping for the kid, but he's never thrown for more than 300 yards, he's never thrown more than 2 TDs in a game, and he's never rushed for more than 40 yards. So the stats you suggest would easily be his best statistical game in every category. I'm personally expecting more like 18/28 for 225 yards and 1 or 2 TDs, and I hope that's enough.
  14. The only games this year where he wasn't targeted were the 2 he sat out. He was only targeted 3 times vs Indy, but he was targeted. And he was targeted twice in Miami, but he only played 12 snaps that game.
  15. Yeah, I prefer to avoid mixing head injuries and altitude
  16. Brutal. Hoping he clears it soon for everyone's sake
  17. Yeah, still no word. I know it took Kuechley like 3 weeks to get through protocol earlier this year.
  18. Indeed! Especially considering how bad the field position and TOP battles were in the first half. Going into the locker room down only 3 was practically a miracle.
  19. Totally new and insightful information, thanks Chris! Sunday will surely be interesting!
  20. What's funny is that we're 2-1 in games he's active, and the one we lost was the one where he got 8 of his 13 targets on the year. (And no, I don't think we lost to the Pats* because we targeted Sammy more)
  21. Just wait, he'll be asking for more pass attempts soon after last week!
  22. It probably doesn't seem like it, but I'm with you (and dave for that matter) on this. My worry is that by going to the media it may backfire a bit. Defenses may roll his way a bit more thinking we'll force the ball there. And one of his points is that the QBs are young and need to learn to trust him, but he went to the media to relay that message. Not really the best way to earn trust, imo. As for Dave's breakdown, it does seem that the league standard for an exceptional WR is about 28-30% of the targets. In our current offense that correlates to about 8 per game (thanks LeGOAT). To me, it is not shocking that Antonio Brown and Sammy are the ones asking to be targeted more considering Pittsburgh ranks 26th in the league in pass attempts and Buffalo ranks 29th.
  23. I do agree there should be more screens thrown to Sammy. That was one of his best things coming out of college
