  1. Well, Rex does seem to care about Jim and his opinions. So maybe this will be the flip of the switch that gets him to consider some adjustments.
  2. Not that it changes the sentiment whatsoever, but his passer rating was 81.7. Nonetheless I wholeheartedly agree with this post.
  3. he has the second most receptions of any player on the team
  4. the league was a bit different a quarter century ago
  5. If we score the 41 we had against Miami every week we're undefeated. Great logic!
  6. I'd be willing to bet that one of the teams we already beat is a playoff team this year.
  7. And if the adults don't clean up the $#!@ then they get a rash
  8. People love to make up stats and results for players that didn't play
  9. Certainly isn't a Clemson WR thing, look at DeAndre Hopkins and Martavis Bryant
  10. 2. Tyrod threw for 277 against Miami, and 274 against the Giants. EJ threw for 263 Sunday. To the bolded, our offense was averaging 31 points per game (27, 32, 34) when Sammy and Shady played in games. 31 points per game is plenty.
  11. I understand he works for the Bills and it's his job to put a positive spin on things, but that's funny.
  12. No, I believe this thread was created as a response to all the comments throughout the week saying our offense would be dramatically improved from EJ being QB. How he should be the starter, and the what if he throws for 300+, 3+ TDs and runs for 65 yards comments. In fact, most in this thread have stated that EJ was okay and not the reason we lost, but they were also the ones who didn't expect him to have a career day in every major category.
  13. Sticking with my preseason guess of 10-6 (my guesstimation method put us around 9.7 wins)
  14. They get to play Oakland instead of KC
  15. It's pretty amazing what having a RB average more than 2.5 YPC will do for your offense, isn't it?
  16. I'm seeing the glass half full. A lot of our struggles can be tied to injuries at key positions and while the D hasn't been spectacular, a lot of their woes have cascaded over to them from the Offense and Special Teams. Assuming we can limp into the Bye at 4-3 and take some time to get healthier I feel good about the remaining teams on the schedule that aren't named New England and Dallas (assuming they get healthy as well).
  17. While I don't think NY misses Rex, I also do not believe their record has much to do with their coaches. Their additions on defense were Revis, Cromartie, and Skrine. Their DL is solid and their secondary is forcing a lot of turnovers.
  18. And we have a bye the week after that so we can't lose!
  19. Yeah, if we lose to NE*, split with the Jets, and lose to the healthy Cowboys that's still 10-6, which is what I expected pre-season. Somehow, knowing the Bills, we will drop another random game in there, but maybe we can pull out a surprise in NE* or vs DAL, or sweep the Jets.
  20. In general this year our defenders seem to be in a position to make plays pretty often, but we have been plagued with poor tackling. They also seem to be a bit slower, but I believe that is a byproduct of them learning a new system and thinking, which will go down and improve with time.
  21. is Sally our new nickname for Sammy when he seems soft?
  22. it is indeed, the other being titled 'RIP EJ'
  23. 1 for 1 with Joe Thomas and I'd consider it
