  1. I don't know what line of work you're in, but I'm an engineer. I have entry level engineers working under me. I review their work, then sign and seal plan sets. If, at a later date, something is found to be wrong with the plans I am the only one held accountable by law. Even if the 2013 draft board was 100% Whaley's work, it was Buddy Nix who signed off on that work and authorized the move.
  2. The key is having a GM and HC that are in sync as far as what they want. Rex lost that in NY and they tanked pretty hard, if Rex and Whaley are on the same page I say give it some time.
  3. Oh jeez, I'm dumb and it's early Edited...
  4. Just got an NFL alert on my phone that Wake is out for the season. Link
  5. Wait until he posts a photo of him and his mom at King's Dominion. That's where the comments will have the most effect
  6. I like the Red on Blue twitter mock up. Also, if Tyrod's in a red jersey that means the Jets aren't allowed to hit him, right?
  7. Maybe they think he's getting the David Carr treatment, beaten into submission and becoming gun shy from all the hits?
  8. 4. Jalen Ramsey, S, FSU 5. Lareny Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss 6. Jared Goff, QB, Cal 7. Jarran Reed, DT, Bama 8. Jaylon Smith, OLB, Notre Dame 9. Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame 10. 9. They should convert him to a CB, where he can more effectively use his backpedaling skills
  10. Not saying it fully mitigates those hits, because it doesn't, but have you seen how much extra padding Cam wears? Rib Protector, Thighs, Knees, and Shins, among other things. It's kind of telling.
  11. I don't know if anybody posted this, but it's an opinion piece from ESPN on 10 QB's who could change teams in 2016, and it seems somewhat relevant to this conversation. For those without insider: 1. Drew Brees: Chance is low 2. Matt Stafford: Chance is low 3. Peyton Manning: Chance is high for retirement 4. Colin Kaepernick: Chance is medium 5. RG3: Chance is high 6. Jay Cutler: Chance is medium/low 7. Sam Bradford: Chance is high 8. Kirk Cousins: Chance is medium/high 9. Geno Smith: Chance is medium 10. Ryan Fitzpatrick: Chance is low So that is 8 teams with potential turnover at the QB position: NO, DET, DEN, SF, WAS, CHI, PHI, NYJ
  12. I think the issue most are having with EJ, especially with the Jags game, is that he has doubled our INT's in the 2 games he's played. Granted, the list of gripes I have about the Jags game is significantly longer than EJ's 3 series nightmare.
  13. That's just his wife in a Sanchez Jets jersey, right?
  14. BTW, these social media trolls are the reason Jimmy Kimmel does a segment called 'Celebrities reading mean tweets' which Sammy should probably watch.
  15. you and your paying job... j/k he posted this: To add context, this was a response on instagram to his posts of him walking around Disney with his family. Some Bills fans were upset that he wasn't healthy enough to play on Sunday, but could walk around a theme park for an entire day without crutches or a boot.
  16. He can do whatever he wants. That's not the point. If he wants to throw his girlfriend onto a couch full of assault rifles, he might be suspended for 4 games. If he wants to be active on twitter, he might have to deal with idiots who talk trash behind the internet's anonymity. If he publicly responds to said idiots with an extremely broad brush about worthless low paying 9-5 jobs when his fanbase is a blue collar city with a low cost of living, he might be criticized for being an idiot himself.
  17. Based on the sentence structure it's obviously a Yoda quote...
  18. I thought the point was to eliminate a large portion of the analysis in an attempt to keep the fanbase less educated about the on field product.
  19. Ah, I misinterpreted "QB being discussed" since TT is part of the topic's title. Still not sure I share your sentiment, but carry on.
  20. I had the benefit of ultra slow stuttering streaming video. It was clear as day when you watch it like a power point presentation slide by slide!
  21. Flacco played the first 2 series of that game. After those series they pulled Ray Rice and Torrey Smith, along with Flacco.
  22. I accept and endorse this assessment
  23. IDK why, but there are folks who think EJ should finish out the year. There are folks who think we need to bring in Ryan Mallett. There are folks who think that Tyrod has reached his 'ceiling'. There are folks to who think the NFL figured him out after 2 games. And there are folks who think that Tyrod should be some perfectly polished product because he held a clipboard for Flacco for 4 years. In the end, he hasn't been nearly as bad as some seem to think, and he needs to play out the season. I'm with you. This was more a response to people saying his time holding a clipboard should have slowed down the game for him and made him a polished product like the comparison was when he finally started. Here's hoping we give it some time and make a proper assessment.
