  1. Yeah, I mean I have hope that he will continue to develop, but there's no excusing that performance. It was bad. Ball placement was off all night, and that's on him. Let's see how he rebounds in a very difficult place to play at Arrowhead. I have plenty of faith in Tyrod, but I have also been very much for us bringing in another qb prospect to develop through the draft as well. I think Tyrod is solid enough to buy us some time to either a) let him pan out into a quality starter, or b) find a prospect that can develop and learn the system for a year or so before being thrown into the fire. At the end of the day only time will tell, but I am pleased with our current trajectory.
  2. Some may call me crazy, but I believe last night showed progress towards being a winning team. For the past 15 years we have been a team that gave other teams opportunities to beat us, and the good teams capitalized on those opportunities and did beat us. I feel like last night we took a step forward. Instead of giving the Pats* clear opportunities to take over we generated opportunities for ourselves. Now we did not capitalize on them, we aren't there yet, but I feel like we created a lot of opportunities to take that game over, and I do not believe that is something we have done in the recent past. The next step is to capitalize on the opportunities we create like the teams you see doing consistently well like the Pats*, Packers, or Steelers.
  3. Agreed, that's a tough adjustment. But in his postgame I believe he mentioned that a coach told him if the ball comes in like that he should fight back to the ball to draw a flag, and when it happened later in the game he did and it did draw a flag.
  4. So because Brady had a bad night as well and I pointed it out I'm trolling? what a joke. Here are some facts from last night's game. Despite Tyrod's missed opportunities he finished with a better completion percentage, higher passer rating, higher tQBR, and less interceptions than Brady. Stats never tell the full story, but let's not act like Brady had some killer night while Tyrod did nothing. Both had lackluster nights. The game was plagued with many issues for the Bills, Tyrod's play being one of them, but they had pretty similar games.
  5. I was expecting the hit where Graham went low
  6. I mean, if you want to ignore all of Brady's fear induced ground balls that's fine. His receivers made a few really impressive catches to help him as well, despite being mostly no-names.
  7. Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 3h3 hours ago Bills G John Miller, who was carted off last night, suffered just a minor ankle sprain, source said. No break.
  8. Likely conversation: Rex: Tell me you're okay so I don't have to put EJ in. Tyrod: I'm good to go Coach.
  9. Just look for the right handed QB with a cybernetic throwing hand. Easy pickings!
  10. Yep, first time they've had all their starters from last year together (minus Solder) as far as I know.
  11. They were only missing Solder on the OL. Hardly decimated. If you're talking about switching centers, I'm pretty sure that was Brady's call.
  12. The QBs weren't all that different in performance last night though
  13. Depends who's available at our pick still.
  14. Cheers PatsFan. I thought we had plenty of opportunities to get you guys last night, but we didn't capitalize. Both QBs seemed to struggle as well.
  15. I knew I should have guessed 1 rushing yard and no penalty yards....
  16. so the winner was 138, with 94 rushing and 44 penalty yards
  17. also a lot of 2 back sets with Karlos and Shady. I like the idea I guess, but it didn't seem to pay off.
  18. Yes. The scheme seems to be setting in and feeling more natural for the players. Should only improve over time as well, communication still needs to improve though.
  19. Ball placement was bad all night. I didn't like how conservative we were either. Way too many shotgun delayed handoffs for no gain.
  20. No kidding. I think we had 5 total, one took away a first down run and the other took away starting field position in field goal range
  21. So I wasn't the only one to see that highlight. Thank you for confirming that.
  22. We are not able to capitalize on opportunities when they present themselves. The chances were abundant last night, but we squandered every last one of them.
  23. Indeed, and he was fired up after too!
  24. well it ended with a rambo pick and return, which only happened once as far as I know
