  1. After the Chiefs loss the plan was to go hyper-aggressive with the decision making. If it panned out, great. If not, it wasn't for lack of trying. I agree that sustaining those drives would have been better, and there were 2 or 3 that seemed like easy pickups with his legs, but the plan was to throw it down the field if someone was even kind of open.
  2. Hard to pin it on one play, but I do kind of agree. That muffed punt was the difference between us getting the ball on the 45 and them throwing a 53 yard TD.
  3. So because a franchise that has nothing to do with Tyrod screwed up their hot start Tyrod will too? Keep grasping...
  4. JP Losman had 6 game winning drives in 45 games. Tyrod is 1/3rd of the way there on 1/4th of the opportunities.
  5. Anyone else notice he started kicking his PATs from the middle instead of the left hash?
  6. So you'd rather tie the game than win it, and you are weighing tying higher than winning? Cool. I will say again, he has had a game winning drive in 2 of his 11 starts.
  7. He's played 11 games and already has 2 game winning drives according to the TV cast yesterday
  8. If the league has passed his scheme by then why would Whaley target a need for his scheme?
  9. We've had 7 head coaches and an interim head coach since 1997. That's an average of ~2.5 years per coach.
  10. Blowing it up every year when a few things don't go right is why we have continually been bad.
  11. Don't worry. If they screw it up they won't officiate any playoff games this year!
  12. I just want you to know, if I could like this post I would.
  13. This year they are killing it in that stat!
  14. We're also top 5 for finding the most elaborate and heartbreaking way to lose a game. The two tend to counteract each other.
  15. Did you know Russell Wilson has thrown for 300+ yards 6 times in 68 starts? That's just under 1 time every 11 games. He also only did it once his first year starting, and it was in a playoff loss.
  16. In a hail mary situation ball skills trump coverage & tackling skills. The game wasn't on the line, but Rex needed to keep the points down to pad his #1 Defense's stats.
  17. 87.6M / 4 Years is 21.9M / Year. His base salary this year is still 700k, despite his extension. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/seattle-seahawks/russell-wilson/
  18. It's normal to evaluate through the offseason and make moves right after the offseason. That way the new guy has all year to prepare.
  19. Wasn't it a 4 year 87.6M extension to his rookie deal? That would make the resulting contract 5 Years, 89.3M.
  20. $30M guaranteed might work for a 2 year deal, but the fact is there is a sub .500 QB who has never made the playoffs that got 45M guaranteed on a 4 year deal.
  21. No. The best thing that could happen for him is to go somewhere outside of the legacy his uncle left. Kind of like Derek Carr not going to Houston.
