  1. No, he fumbled at the 6 and the Jags returned it for a TD. What's your point?
  2. Don't say that or he'll go to New Orleans with Byrd and Spiller!
  3. Agreed, dead horse, but wasn't it a pick 6 by the D that gave us that lead, not EJ?
  4. 2015 O: 24.4 (Rank 13) 2015 D: 24.0 (Rank 21) 2014 O: 21.4 (Rank 26) 2014 D: 18.1 (Rank 4) 2013 O: 21.2 (Rank 19) 2013 D: 24.3 (Rank 10)
  5. Our offense went from 21.4 points per game in 2014 to 24.4 points per game in 2015. Our defense went from allowing 18.1 points per game to allowing 24 points per game. Who is the onus on? Funny, when our O scored more on average that our D allowed we had a winning record, now our O scores basically the same as our D allows and we might be 8-8
  6. Say the trade isn't player for player, but for a pick this year. What would you be happy with? That's the other driving issue imo. How does the organization value him and can we get that value realistically?
  7. This is a fair point. I really only see an EJ move happening if we are trying to trade him to get some value out of him before letting him walk for nothing.
  8. Eh, 26 is young when the best few in the league are at least 5 years older than that. Though you'd think he would know that Tyrod spent 4 years in Baltimore and not 3
  9. Five best, worst free-agent signings of 2015 offseason For those without Insider: 2. DeAngelo Williams, RB, Steelers 3. Kurt Coleman, S, Panthers 4. Jabaal Sheard, OLB, Pats* 5. Ted Ginn Jr., WR, Panthers Worst 1. Brandon Browner, CB, Saints 2. Byron Maxwell, CB, Eagles 3. Dwayne Bowe, WR, Browns 4. DeMarco Murray, RB, Eagles 5. Cary Williams, CB, Seahawks
  10. Ha, I wonder if the Boykin workout was a favor to Tyrod
  11. He's 23 in 1 stat, yards per game, which is heavily influenced by the fact that he's 25th in attempts. He's top 5 in YPA, INTs, and Rating... Again with you not even reading what I said. It is a game winning drive.
  12. Hopefully nothing fragile in case they drop it.
  13. Are we going with total stats to compare with a player who missed 2 games? Out of the 25 players who have started 10 or more games this year Tyrod is dead last at 25 in Attempts, 23 in YPG, 16 in CMP%, 16 in TDs, 2 in INT, 4 in INT%, 5 in Rating, 15 in Sacks, and 4 in YPA. Is it top 10 across the board? No, but it's better than most expected in the offseason. Here's the query if you want a reference: PFR
  14. We were tied 21-21 in the 4th quarter and we scored 9 unanswered points on our final 2 drives. Unless a tie is acceptable that is still a game winner.
  15. EJ's also had a turnover for every touchdown he scored in those games (3 TDs, 3 INTs, 1 Rush TD, 1 Fumble Lost). In Tyrod's last 5 starts he's thrown 9 TDs to 1 INT (had 2 games with 3 TD passes, something EJ's never done) and had 1 Rushing TD and 1 Fumble Lost. Are we not counting Tennessee or Houston?
  16. Because it worked. Do you think they would blame Cam if the center let an unblocked DT sack him to send the game to overtime?
  17. Maybe I'm out of the loop, but is the price of oil tied that directly to natural gas?
  18. Great, let me know when he's available! So you think the fact that we are consistently extremely slow getting to the line of scrimmage throughout the entirety of games is a reflection of late game leadership? I think you have no idea what Tyrod is saying or doing to other players late in the game.
  19. I think it's the part where he's calm and confident in the huddle, screaming at players on the field to get them in proper position, and the first person in and last person out of the facility. He does plenty on the sidelines during games, but he's smart enough to know what will help and what will make things worse. Like that time Carp missed an extra point, Tyrod patted him on the back and said "Don't worry about it, we'll get it back. Keep your head up." And then he hit a 38 yard FG to seal the game a series or 2 later.
  20. Imo, when I hear the Czar term for us I envision that the structure is nearly identical to the structure currently in place except the Pegulas are replaced at the top by someone more established in Football. So the HC and GM both report to the Czar, who has final say over all operations. Pegula is a very smart businessman, and I believe it is his philosophy that part of being successful is allowing people who are more qualified than you to do things for you. They got caught up in Rex's bravado and charm and made a quick decision that isn't really panning out right now. They probably do not want that to happen again.
  21. I think he was 3/6 and our offense had a grand total of 42 yards. As far as defense, Washington didn't punt in the first half and we were lucky the score wasn't 24 or 28 to 0 because they had that penalty.
  22. Top 20 UFAs for 2016
  23. Remember that time when McDaniels was so overconfident that he overdrafted Tim Tebow and then scurried back to NE*?
  24. Based on the 'Green Bay' comments I'm going to guess that our focus is on retention and not acquisition.
