  1. Great safety valve for Doughty all year
  2. I liked what I saw of him in the bowl game against VT
  3. Not really a fan of the fanspeak board, but here's what I got: 19: R1P19 DE EMMANUEL OGBAH OKLAHOMA STATE 49: R2P18 DT JARRAN REED ALABAMA 80: R3P17 OLB JOSHUA PERRY OHIO STATE 114: R4P19 WR DE'RUNNYA WILSON MISSISSIPPI STATE 144: R5P17 QB BRANDON DOUGHTY WESTERN KENTUCKY 174: R6P17 S MILES KILLEBREW SOUTHERN UTAH
  4. I'd like it. He'd supplement the inside well enough and he already knows the scheme so calls might get called in more smoothly. Seems kinda like a Jim Leonhard move at this stage, there are probably better players out there physically but he understands where people should be and what adjustments to make.
  5. It's like you didn't even watch the Bills this year. He rolls out with his eyes downfield regularly, that's how we got a lot of our big plays.
  6. What part of 5'11" 206 lbs isn't smaller than 6'1" 215 lbs?
  7. Can you guys imagine the videos if Manziel had access to bars until 4AM all season long?
  8. In 3 of those 6 games he ran for 44, 46, and 53 yards. Also being 'ineffective' is different than being off the field.
  9. He missed 2 games and played something like 83% of our offensive snaps. Let's not act like he's Goodwin or Harvin...
  10. Tannehill is never worth mentioning an any argument or discussion. He simply exists and there isn't much more to it.
  11. And Luck (Before he was injured). Oh wait I forgot he sucks now... and Mariota
  12. Problem is we didn't average 4 TDs per game, we averaged 2.75 TDs per game including defensive scores (23 passing, 19 rushing, 1 INT, 1 Fumble). The problem with applying points per TD to 2 Pt conversions is that if you don't convert you first have to score another TD, and then you have to convert just to break even.
  13. I was specifically talking about ESPN's stats, which seem to directly coincide with yards (If you go to ESPN's NFL Stats page there is a link under the team stats section that says 'Total Defense' which returns the defenses sorted by yards). However, you could make an argument that both their yard rankings and PPG rankings were skewed by their QB's tendency to turn the ball over. Consistently short fields for opposing offenses tend to lead to fewer yard totals and higher point totals.
  14. I agree. There is definitely a difference in attitude though. Our D: "2 seconds? I couldn't get around a trash can in 2 seconds!" Denver D: "2 seconds? I'll get there in 1."
  15. I'd assume 5-7, but considering the Pats* are out in large part because of a missed PAT he may gain some value
  16. Wasn't the NY Jets defense top 10 in total defense every year but 1 from 2011-2014? And the one year it wasn't was 2013, when they were a dreadful 11th.
  17. It all depends on the draft board you choose, and some are flat out bad.
  18. I think Ogbah's got a shot
  19. How long until the media stops claiming him to be every team with a vacancy's top choice until they decide to go with someone else?
  20. My latest iteration: 19: R1P19 OLB JAYLON SMITH NOTRE DAME 49: R2P18 WR JOSH DOCTSON TCU 80: R3P17 DE ANTHONY ZETTEL PENN STATE 114: R4P19 DT VERNON BUTLER LOUISIANA TECH 144: R5P17 QB BRANDON DOUGHTY WESTERN KENTUCKY 174: R6P17 S TYVIS POWELL OHIO STATE
  21. If anything they would simply ask his opinion assuming they are already interested in the player. Like an impromptu "Hey, we're interested in this guy and we understand you know him personally. Is there anything we should know, and what would you think if we picked him up?" Most extreme case I can think of is Arizona drafting Tyrann Mathieu. They had a ton of input from Patrick Peterson on it.
  22. Illuminati, they are meant to back up TT! Or maybe our QB search ends with TT!
