  1. Yeah, an unexpected direction given their production. Was this move a shock or taken well with the locals?
  2. Maybe I hate them more than the people you speak of, but I refuse to watch Pats* games unless they are also Bills games.
  3. I didn't see that. Checked spotrac and it appears he has a no trade clause. I was operating under the idea that Payton may be on his last legs and new coaches typically mean new QBs.
  4. except last year when Brady threw 59 times or whatever it was...
  5. If we've budgeted for Tyrod's 2017 contract # and we want to trade for an aging QB, I say target Brees. It's pretty clear they are about to be in full rebuild mode.
  6. There was also the group who tried to purchase the team (Rogers Group, Bon Jovi, etc.) who wanted to move them to Toronto.
  7. His thumb looks good in the locker room? What the are they doing up there?
  8. We are awful at short yardage situations when it only counts for a 1st down. I'd hate to start staking points on our short yardage game.
  9. Mike Reiss ‏@MikeReiss 9m9 minutes ago Patriots QB Jacoby Brissett is present in locker room during media access. He does not have any protective covering over his right thumb.
  10. They're all small sample sizes. Al Groh went 9-7 in his 1 season as an NFL HC Bill O'Brien is 18-14 so far As far as what I'm considering 'most of the Bills HC's' I'm just looking at our record since Levy left. Since '98 we're 126-162. That's literally like going 7-9 every year for 18 years. It's also worth noting that the average tenure of a Bills HC is 2.57 years over that same span. And yes, that is discounting Perry Fewel's interim job entirely. EDIT: for statistical accuracy, Rex is currently the HC and his tenure should be removed from the average since it is not completed yet. THe average tenure of a Bills HC since 1998 is 2.83 years discounting the interim job.
  11. I think the edits I made are Rhino's point.
  12. This should not be a concern. If the headsets go out Tyrod has a playcall wristband. Statistically speaking he has a ~3% chance to call the same play A Lynn wanted if we prep 35-40 plays
  13. If that was how it played out in the Locker Room Tyrod would hand his to A Lynn.
  14. Denver might be 2nd to Minnesota
  15. Purged my fantasy team of all Buffalo players.
  16. in a losing effort. Spirit breaker?
  17. Manning was the system. Shame the system doesn't work outdoors after November/December.
  18. The Pats* are known for manipulating the injury report, but I get what you're saying and I don't disagree. Really just a general curiosity.
  19. He's also played some halves, which wouldn't be factored into that. I think the Watkins injury stuff is overstated, don't get me wrong, but I do wonder what % of his games did he appear on the injury report?
  20. I just went with geography mostly, and somewhat with rivalries. The northeast is easily the most up for interpretation.
  21. AFC North: AFC East: AFC South: AFC West: Patriots Jets Titans Raiders Colts Ravens Dolphins Chiefs Bengals Steelers Texans Broncos Browns Bills Jaguars Chargers NFC North: NFC East: NFC South: NFC West: Lions Redskins Buccaneers Seahawks Packers Eagles Saints Rams Vikings Giants Falcons Cardinals Bears Panthers Cowboys 49ers
  22. The problem is that his specialty was the side that was failing. I believe the team would have seen more success if Marrone would have released his grip on the O and focused more on HC/Managerial duties. Unfortunately, he tried to make power plays for more control instead. I seem to remember several reports surfacing about how Marrone essentially handcuffed Hackett's playcalling. To have been a fly on the wall in those rooms...
  23. Wasn't the roster that Rex took to back to back AFC Championships put together mostly by Mangini & crew? Maybe we should bring Mangini in as a GM instead of a coach.
