  1. Beane and his staff does leg work on players and then they bring McDermott in to get his opinion to make a final call. It's called teamwork
  2. When Bevell was OC in Minnesota, Leslie Frazier was DC. That could be a connection.
  3. So you going to ignore the fact Wilson turned into one of the best QBs in league?!
  4. I can't believe bevell is available. At one point he was interviewing to be HC of this team. I always loved the way he designed a plan to use Wilsons strengths.
  5. It is tough to find a year where this many QBs will go in the first but here are some comparables: 2012 - 4 QBs went in 1st, the 5th and 6th were Osweiler and Russell Wilson. 2011- 4 QBs went in 1st, the 5th and 6th were Dalton and Kaep. 2004- 4 QBs went in 1st, the 5th and 6th were Shaub and Luke McCown. In this instance where so many QBs are drafted early, there is obviously less chance of the guy you drafting being great. In this situation, it would suck to get the guy that turned out bad, but at least if you take both, you would have got a good QB.
  6. Huh? Patriots held onto Jimmy G. Cincinnati supposedly had a deal in place for McCarron. Teams wanted Cousins bad when RG3 was the starter. It's fine to hang onto the QB.
  7. I don't understand the strategy of not taking two QBs. You get double the opportunity to evaluate two top prospect at the most important position in football. You find out which one is better and trade the other. One thing we have seen is that QBs that don't really play but have potential keep their value. It's time to think outside the box.
  8. This has been discussed a couple times throughout other franchises that were QB needy with multiple picks and I think it is an interesting discussion. A lot of people feel that QBs are like lottery tickets. There really is no guarantee with any of them so the more you draft, the better your chances of hitting is. Let's assume Rosen and Darnold go 1 and 2. That leaves Mayfield, Allen, Rudolph and Jackson as the remaining QBs. Mayfield and Allen are projected between 5-12 while Rudolph and Jackson are projected later. Would you rather package the 2 1sts for Mayfield or Allen OR draft both Rudolph and Jackson at 21 and 22?
  9. Not sure how you couldn't after that press conference. Not once did they give any type of confidence in Dennison even when he was specifically called out. Doesn't leave a good relationship between the two parties.
  10. Lawson costs us a lot of dead cap if cut. He is going no where unless someone gives a high pick. Hughes' play does not warrant his salary. He is very unproductive. It is kind of sad that we will put Ryan Davis or Cap in his spot for a couple plays and they will make a play while we get nothing from Hughes all game.
  11. Ritchie will redo his contract. Clay doesn't save anything. Tyrod and Hughes are gone.
  12. So you want a QB that only throws to wide opened guys? Don't we have that already?
  13. So Carolina fired their OC within 48 hours of their playoff game, but McDermott needs more time?
  14. Team has more than enough talent on offense. The problem is QB, but we have a ton of assets to get something done there.
  15. He doesn't like Mayfield because he is a winner and he sucked at winning as a coach. He is the better pure passer over his QB in Rosen. Only thing Rosen has is size.
  16. We set records for the amount of times we did not score one single TD in a game. If you want to keep the guy responsible for that, you are not about doing what's best for this organization long term. I want Dennison no where near a young QB.
  17. I personally think it is BS and feel the Bills should have blocked it. He literally did nothing for this team besides get information to take back to his former team. Not even here a year before leaving to go back to the place where he supposedly didn't get along with other members of organization.
  18. Is it normal to not hear one word from anyone beyond players?
  19. Peterman can't even be trusted as a back up. Sorry, but every drive he is out there, you feel like a dumb mistake is coming.
  20. Cant get tougher than this season and we made it.
  21. For the crowd that says Dennison won't be fired, you must remember that Dennison was not the first choice of this coaching staff. There is no doubt they settled and the results were horrible. We were setting records with how few points we were scoring in games.
  22. Same o line, QB, TE, and RB. So yes comparable parts. The WRs were different. You have to remember that Watkins really didn't play last year and Goodwin was usually hurt.
  23. The offense had its worst year under Dennison. The previous two years the offense was decent with comparable parts.
