Eric Wood “retirement” press conference
Ittakestime replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am still trying to figure out why people think this looks bad on the Bills. Eric was the one that called the press conference. It's his agent fault that he never notified his client about what could happen with his remaining money. This should not have been news to Eric 15 mins before the conference. I'm a little disappointed in Eric if he is letting this ruin a great relationship. At the end of the day, he didn't earn that money. It's a bonus, it's not his salary. I'm sure we all can relate about not getting a bonus in our own workplace. Did Eric really think he is just owed all this money? People get hurt all the time at their jobs that cost them money. -

Wawrow knows more and if the case above was correct, the press conference wouldn't have been delayed an hour and been more than 2 minutes. -

Yeap a lot of good coaches out there yet we promoted a guy who barely got any production at frickin University of Nevada. -

It's more than 3 million. Right now it is 10.39 milliion. If they don't have to pay the 4.33 million for the bonus, they than can split the 4.8 million between the 2 years with post june 1st cut. 2018: 2.4 million from salary and 1.26 million in dead money from last restructure. 3.66 total 2019: 2.4 million from salary. Would save Bills 6.73 million this year. Thats a really good player or a bunch of depth. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2018/1/26/16936636/buffalo-bills-salary-cap-ramifications-of-eric-wood-retirement-for-neck-injury -
Mike Waufle DL Coach Retires

No ambition to get better. Castillo and Culley still in their positions. Can't wait to see Alex Smith on this team to really cap off the same as it ever was. -
Tanner Lee is a dark horse QB to keep an eye on

Tanner Lee will be lucky to be drafted. Maybe go in 7th. -
Eric Wood “retirement” press conference

The Bills have already given Wood more than enough money. The same Wood that yelled at Maybin about giving money back. The Bills have no problem paying the 4.5 million in base. The problem is that the signing bonus was based on him actually being able to play. Guess what, he isn't playing. They have every right to go after it. Let's not sit here and act like Wood is struggling. -
Mike Waufle DL Coach Retires
Ittakestime replied to Wayne Cubed's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The unit severely under-performed last year especially in terms of Shaq Lawson not getting better in a crucial season. So in typical fashion, we just promote two guys who were already on staff who were here with the lack of production last year. Not to mention, the guy we just promoted there is are questions whether he should be a Dline coach. He sure doesn't have the resume. -

That is not what the disagreement is. The Bills want more than 4 million back in signing bonus. Read the AP article. -

I expected more from him. I just hope they don't promote from within. Within all the coach changes around the league, there are some talented coaches still out there. -

I wouldn't take anything Rapoport has to say in regards to this very seriously. He is just saying the formality of what would normally happen. Seems like there is obviously some issue. -

I think it is funny I got all this crap about questioning this over the weekend, yet the front office is clearly doing the same. -
Best QB draft prospect for Bills. Not top 10.
Ittakestime replied to PIZ's topic in College Football
Lauletta has too weak of an arm. Mike White really intrigues me. Value wise, he might be the best bet in terms of QBs. -
Yes that is correct. Teams don't really move in second half of first round. Teams will move for QBs. After the Bills only Jax is the QB needy team. I can see Bills moving to before them in order to have the fifth year option for the QB.
-
6 QBs are not going in top 15 picks. 6 QBs won't even go in the whole first round. This is whole QB needing team is just a media line. Every year dozens of teams need QBs.

I understand that but Darnold doesn't. have the constant injuries either. Also, I am not sure if Darnold has many cross field throws right into defenders hands. An analyst of WGR this week mentioned Rosen's tennis background as a negative and I actually see that too. He is very individual driven. I would label it as a bit selfish and a bit of just not caring. The hot tub instance for example. He knew how much attention it was going to cause yet he still took the all effort to do something like that. He just rubs me the wrong way.
-
It's always nice to create your own trade partners. Cleveland has enough picks and they will just stay where they are at, or trade down. They won't be trading up. It will tough to move back from 22 in this draft. Talent just isn't there. Lots of players are the same grade I think there is a better chance we package both 2nds to move into late 1st.
-
I beg to differ. I think he lacks the mental side of things. Watch him in the Memphis game. Puts up numbers but so many bad decisions. He did things that high schoolers know not to do. I think he is in for a rude awakening in NFL. He will need to really put the extra work in mentally.
-
You could be correct there, I just haven't seen him enough. He is considered a 4th round guy but you know how works. He probably ends up falling later than that. After the first couple QBs, they usually slip
-
He is a day 2 prospect that I would be interested in. If you can't get any of the top 4, I would rather wait till day 2. People are putting way too many QBs in 1st. History shows that you will get 4 and maybe a 5th will sneak in later in the round. People thinking White is going round 1 are saying 7 QBs will go in first. Let me know when that happened last.
-
Lack of arm strength is evident in both and we seen this year why that is important to NFL personnel which caused Peterman to drop. These NFL secondaries are too good and will just sit there and pick these guys off. You really need to be able to throw all the routes on NFL.
-
Eagles got a ton out of Darby. We lost that trade by a country mile. Starting CBs are tough to find.
-
What the heck? New?! Allen has been in the mix for over a year now. Him and Peterman are not close to being similar.
