Looks to me like the Bills are building an analytic type department. I wonder if we will see some of these hires for the defensive side of ball. Any third party can give a team stats, but you need people with real football backgrounds to interpret that data.

The NFL never seems to amaze me. The guy was a scout before he came to the Bills. He has done nothing for the Bills but is about to be a GM?!? Essentially going from scout to GM in a year.

If Frazier leaves it would make complete sense to hire steve spagnuolo. A guy that comes from the same line as McDermott. I actually think it would be an upgrade to Frazier.

Did he get the job? I wouldn't put any stock into the interview. He literally is geting a look because Irsay is in desperation mode and he worked for him before.

Personally think they should have promoted Kevin Stefanski. The guy has been absolute money with every position coach he previously coached. I personally don't understand the obsession with Defilippo.

Not really. Reich is such an unknown. Frank has very little control experience. What I mean by that, is that in both spots he was an OC, he was just an accessory and not the main guy. The one thing that was so great about McDermott is that he was given a lot of freedom in Carolina. I think that showed right away. Everything is so calculated and tight shipped. Indy needs someone who is going to come in and demand control. I fear that Reich will be too robin and not enough batman.

I heard this morning and thought it was really good. A couple thoughts: His opinion on Lamar Jackson is not the first time I have heard that from "scouts". I am starting to wonder how he is viewed within teams personnel rooms. I think he may end up going a lot earlier than anticipated. I also wonder if Josh Allen is being overrated by the media. A lot of his tape is bad and I wonder how he is truly rated. Starting to think Jackson may end up being picked before Allen.

All Ian does is pin together past relationships. Look at who he said was on the Bills radar for OC.

Sliding coordinators in is not seemless. The guys exiting are really good. No doubt they are taking a step back and will Belichick sit through it. I have my doubts.

It's about GM/HC relationships now days and KC's staff has been picked apart already. They should have made the change this year and brought in Nagy.
