That is a lot of money and takes up a good chunk of our remaining cap. That deal flips the signing to horrible. 5 million should have been the max with the incentives. What is Beane doing??

I know most won't agree, but I would take Keenum on the this team and would pay him 20 or so million. The guy isn't much different than Foles. Look at what Foles did in the right offense. I actually really like the Daboll hire and think he will adapt to his QB better than the previous OCs we had.

That's great and all but the dude can't stay under control. 9.5 is a lot and wait till after that. We got Tre White late first round and is on a cheap deal for 4-5 years. I wouldn't give anything more than a 3rd for Peters, like Benjamin got.

lol, character and contract need to come into play. There is a reason why there wasn't much interest in Peters. The guy is a total headcase, and quite frankly, was apart of very mediocre defenses. He has been on a decline since his rookie year.

If he is on the team 3 days after the league year opens we owe him 6 million. Not sure if he would be able to recoup that by getting released early versus later. What I mean is that if we release him before the first day of FA he might get 20 million guaranteed total (doesn't include the 6 million from Bills). If we release him later after paying him, he might end up with 18 million guaranteed, but he would also have the 6 million from Bills.

So many see Rosen as a sure thing, but I think he is one of the riskiest. Attitude is tough to change. The Case Keenum - Baker Mayfield comparison is horrible. Mayfield is twice the cerebral QB as Keenum.
