  1. Absolutely. We chatted about it the other night.
  2. Josh is a good team guy so he's officially supportive of whatever path the coaches are pursuing, but he's clearly been frustrated at times this season. For example, in the game against the Texans the camera caught him saying something like "What the hell are we doing?" to Mitch Trubisky on the sidelines. But I'm sure he's as deeply concerned as Bills' fans that his best years are trickling away, and he doesn't even have a Superbowl appearance to show for it.
  3. First round draft choice. Ran a 4.39 40-yard dash at combine. Still only 24 years old. Great pickup. 😑
  4. Is James Lofton still available? He's only 69 years old.
  5. It also doesn't mean that it won't work. What we do know is that what they're doing now isn't working either.
  6. When it's third and short and the Bills don't want to get a first down, Brady can call one of his special tight end sweeps or run James Cook into the line for zero yards.
  7. I was afraid to watch, because what if I liked the movie? I'd have to ask some tough questions about myself and would have about 20 years of Hallmark movies to catch up on.
  8. Yes. Has no one noticed that Bills' offense is most effective when it's running the two-minute drill, and presumably Brady doesn't have time to send in plays?
  9. Hopefully the movie will have some good suggestions for resolving the problems with the Bills' passing offense.
  10. You say that as if it's a bad thing...
  11. There's a very good chance that the Chiefs won't make the playoffs this year.
  12. How about letting Allen call his own plays much as Kelly did back in the day? The only time the Bills offense seems very productive is when it goes into hurry up mode at the end of games when the Bills need to make up some points. Maybe that's because in hurry up mode, Brady doesn't have time to call in ridiculous plays like tight end sweeps on third and one. If we're frustrated as fans, and even Jim Kelly is pissed off, one can only imagine how frustrated Allen must be at this point.
  13. But did the Bills have any more wide receiver talent last year than they do this year? They lost the guy who liked to play in bare feet and eat with his hands and picked up a couple of JAG's, but other than that, it's pretty much the same.
  14. Yes, this is all part of the brilliant plan detailed in another thread to secretly create an elite offense. 🫤
  15. And, interestingly, both Biden and Trump made the same mistake. They pretended they had a mandate when in fact it was a rejection of the previous president's policies. Trump is not prone to self-reflection and won't change, but if the Congressional Republicans don't want to get massacred in the midterms next November, they need to assert themselves and push back against Trump's less popular policies, such as his seemingly endless random and arbitrary tariffs.
  16. Absolutely, until the playoffs. Then all bets are off.
  17. The amount of post-election self-reflection by the Republicans after tonight will probably be about equal to the amount of post-election self-reflection by the Democrats after 2024.
  18. I live in Northern Virginia which is full of angry progressives, some of whom have been furloughed as a result of the government shutdown. They're an angry bunch, but how far off the rails do you have to go to vote for this guy? I guess it's open season on Republicans in Virginia now. I wonder if Jones will even bother to prosecute the assailants.
  19. I'm pretty old so I didn't enjoy the video, but I did learn that there are a lot of parking spots in Tampa.
  20. Yes, his elevated total TD numbers are a bit misleading because so many of them are run-ins from the one-yard line. It would be much more impressive if he was throwing 50 touchdowns per year which, as talented as he is, he might be able to do if he had the receivers and a proper offensive scheme and an offensive coordinator who knew how to best utilize his talents.
  21. The Chiefs were confused by the absence of tight end sweeps on third down.
  22. He's got Kincaid who is a very good to great tight end. He's got Shakir who is a good to very good wide receiver. The rest of the guys are just JAGs. Fortunately, he's also got James Cook who is one of the best running backs in the league. But for just one season, it would be great to see what Allen could do with a top-notch receiving corps.
  23. Allen usually plays his best against good teams in big games. And he sometimes lets up against bad or mediocre opponents as if he feels that he has nothing to prove. This was a big game.
  24. Mahomes is like a vampire. If you don't put a stake in his heart, he's always going to come back.
