  1. We have plenty of money to spend and I think there's still a need at DT. Need to see the money on Star.
  2. You are lost, here you go: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/
  3. He was checked in enough to be 36 on PFF's top 101 for the year.
  4. A motivated top DT who doesn't count in the comp pick formula and may come at a discounted rate. It's a great move. From everything I've heard and read just because he crosses the line on the field sometimes doesn't mean he's a negative presence in the locker room. I think he's a little bit like Richie in the sense he got a reputation and it's stuck with him, but it's not true characterization.
  5. Would love to sign Robinson & Norwell to build pieces around the rookie QB we are getting.
  6. They didn't move to 12 to pick at 12.
  7. They don't need to wait for the Glenn & Tyrod trades to be final, do they? I know I read there's a pick that's been traded ~3 times this offseason, not sure if 12 and/or 65 are included they can move them now or not. You also need to accept that 3 might be as high as they can get.
  8. 12 / 22 / 65 is worth more than 3 on the chart If they want 53 instead of 65 so they really feel like they "win" , who cares (especially if we could get them to kick back 140 or 178 so we finish "down" 1 pick)
  9. Could not have said it better.
  10. Let me guess, you think this guy sounds better: alls short of size marks for traditional early-round quarterback. Short with drop-down release makes him more susceptible to batted passes. Benefited from spread scheme that created huge passing windows to throw to. Will see increased importance on post-snap reads. Needs to improve full-field scanning. Can be thrown off rhythm by delayed blitz packages and disguised coverages. Footwork is erratic. Creeps up in pocket towards pressure. Ball placement wanes when he tries to gun it. Deep balls hang on him. Can't afford any delay in deep release to beat safety over the top. Needs to eliminate his back foot throws. Desire to make plays will lead to unnecessary sacks. Has to prove he can reign in and control on-field edge and cockiness.
  11. I refuse to recognized Rudolph (or any other QB) as being anywhere in the same tier as the others. 1) Rosen . . 2) Darnold . . 3) Allen . 4) Baker 5) Lamar
  12. I absolutely think Barkley is going 1 or 2. If we really are deep in talks with the Colts, it's because we know a player we are comfortable taking is going to be available, bottom line. These supposed "what happens if, oh no!" scenarios are dumb and pointless.
  13. I want it now! Moving up to the top 3 before FA even starts would be killer.
  14. Adams has clearly passed them both by and the Packers looking to replace both with a guy like Robinson or Watkins should tell you everything you need to know. Also, I suggested the Packers as a Sammy option in the Sammy thread, go me!
  15. Exactly this. You move up to 3 because there's 3 guys you can be happy landing, and moving up to 3 now prevents someone else from moving up to 3.
  16. Exactly. It would benefit the Browns to know who the Bills are taking at 3 for their 4th pick as much as it would benefit the Bills to know who the Browns are taking at 1. As for the Giants, there's a clear relationship with Gettleman and Beane.
  17. I'm guessing not moving up to 2 is a pretty strong indication the Giants aren't planning on moving down at all. I also wouldn't be surprised if they have a very good idea a non-QB is going 1 or 2. Basically, I don't think they move up to 3 without having a very strong idea who they'll be getting, or are happy with either option.
  18. If we trade only trade #21 / #22 / Cordy / Tyrod and get to #3, wow. Just wow.
  19. Would much rather give up the 2nd this year than next year. I'll be real excited if we land the QB, but I'm not optimistic enough to think we'll be drafting later than 53 / 55 next year. I'd hate to give up pick ~36 to save pick 55.
  20. It's entirely possible Cleveland has told them the guy they want, or at least they know within two guys and the Giants have told them they are set on Barkley.
  21. We don't have a Frank Reich connection. He played here 25 years ago, then has interviewed but not been offered several jobs with us. The Giants connection is real, but the Colts, it's nothing more than two professionals.
  22. Basically valued Glenn like a 2nd round pick, which is a pretty strong return.
  23. There's not one team in the league that will honestly tell Bradford he's their guy with no immediate backup plan.
  24. Brady Rodgers Big Ben Wilson Cam Brees Rivers Luck Wentz Stafford Ryan Say he's top 10 takes 2 of those guys out. Not to mention Dak / Jameis / Mariota / Jimmy G. / Watson / Goff / Cousins / Alex Smith Look, I like Bradford, I'd be happy with him as our bridge, but nothing about his history suggests eliminating an aggressive move up the board for another QB. FA is before the draft. Is he going to sit out if we draft a QB?
