  1. Get to 5 and maybe it opens up 1. If the Browns decide they are taking Allen, they flop with us and have pick 4 & 5, we take Darnold 1, Barkley goes 2, Baker goes 3, Browns get Chubb & Allen, save money and get more picks.
  2. Unless Allen is the smokescreen for everyone, there’s rumors Cleveland, the Giants, the jets and the Bills are all interested. Now that’s not exactly a murderers row of well run teams, but it’s a little better than the “experts” on here pulling up stats and random youtube videos. If we decide Allen is our guy all we can hope we he’s developed properly, same stands for any other QB.
  3. He’s not worth more than pick 12 and probably not worth more than pick 22. He’s an injury prone TE with 1 foot out the retirement door and showing signs of decline in his play, not to mention an off field distraction. If the Pats are selling him, teams know there’s a reason.
  4. That's about what I'd give up, 12 / 22/ one pick between 53-65 / maybe a conventional 3-4 in 2019 I just don't see anyone beating that offer. If the Browns want #6 instead of 12, they can dip into their own coffers to do it, they have more than enough. You want 3 1sts, thats #1 pick territory.
  5. It's a bad overpay for #6 followed by a bad overpay for 4. 12 and 22 is worth more than 4, depending on the value chart one is using, the bills have A LOT of other picks available to use, they aren't going to give up 3 1st for pick #4.
  6. 12 / 22 / 2019 1st is #1 overall pick value. I can't see McBeane doing that for potentially the 4th QB. If Cleveland wants that much value, they can give #1.
  7. This gets floated out to judge public reaction in Buffalo to that type of move and reaction in Cleveland to trading the pick. The league drops the schedule to eat up worthless news cycle time, then drops the big trade to lead into the week of draft coverage.
  8. If you are guaranteed health, I go with RB. A GOAT, guaranteed healthy RB is going to handle 30-40% of your offense and will help you get by with a lot less at QB. It will likely get you into the playoffs most every year, pair him with a great defense and could be the formula to sneak out a title, ala Ravens.
  9. But it would be very entertaining if it became clear the Jets could have stayed at 6 and still gotten the same player.
  10. Trade 12 / 53 / 96 (1,686 points) for #6 (1,600 points). Take Rosen Trade 22 / 56 / 65 (1,385 points) for one of 8/9/10 (1,400 - 1,300 points). Take one of Roquan / Fitzpatrick / Edmonds / James. Profit.
  11. I have a hard time not seeing teams copy the KC models. Ones with a mid-later 1st and comfortable about their playoff standings giving up 2 1sts for Rosen. I have a hard time believing he'll slide that far. Cardinals / Saints / Chargers / Steelers / Pats could all be reasonable teams to move up and get him.
  12. They are tied into the draft though. If you own NFL net and you want to promote draft coverage, they are a young up & coming team you could push to hint something first before Rapsheet or Schefter breaks it.
  13. Pick #1. Odell to Cleveland with #2. Probably another later Bills pick.
  14. The Pats would likely happily take #22 for Gronk. You can have Barkley / pick 12 (stud LB / DB) / Gronk / pick 56 or Gronk / pick 23 / pick 31 / Pats 2019 1st Which is better?
  15. If we are playing a rookie or McCarron, I think it's much better to get an experienced WR like Dez. He can hopefully help Benjamin up his game, give us at least 2 strong pro WRs, even if they are the same type, who knows what we have with Zay and you can still draft a speed guy. It's a huge upgrade over what a young undrafted / late pick can bring to the role.
  16. Trade Beckham & #2 for Gronk and 3 picks in the 20s? or Trade Beckham & 2 for 4 / 12 / 22 / ~56?
  17. What if the league just wants to announce the schedule first, make the news cycle all about that, then in the weekend / Monday drop our bombshell to lead into the draft?
  18. He's a massive upgrade over what we have and there's likely not a better player to spend whatever money we have on. We can still draft a speed guy and roll out Dez / Benjamin / Zay / rookie speed WR, not as terrible as our current outlook.
  19. Lauletta might get drafted before Rudolph...
  20. 12 / 22 / 2019 1st is worth pick 1 on the value chart if you assign mid round value to the 2019 1st. I can see tossing in one more pick as sweetener, maybe one between 53-65 and a 3/4 next year. But I think Beane holds 2 of the picks between 53-65, they need to be able to build up the O around the QBs. Someone asked the question about this becoming public impacting it happening. Jalen Rose always says a player (or draft pick) gets traded twice, the first time the team floats your name to gauge reaction, then the actual deal happens.
  21. Albright strikes me as a "misinformation" plant. He's no Schefter or Rapaport.
  22. I don't think that's a conversation the team is having. I think it's Darnold vs Allen. We don't seem to be the only team in the league having the Darnold vs Allen debate either. Personally, if we are giving up a lot, I'd much rather it be for Darnold.
