Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football
Chuck Wagon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The NFL should have rescheduled Bills - Broncos for Tuesday night the moment Gilmore popped up positive. -
Haskins benched in Washington
Chuck Wagon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fromm for Haskins, phone it in. Seems like Washington is simply done with Dwayne and the feeling is mutual. Maybe it's my Buckeye glasses, but Haskins is a way better prospect than Fromm. I think he fits the mold of what this offense asks Allen to do better than Fromm. Bring him in as the backup. -
Week 6: Chiefs at Bills (+5): Monday 5pm on Fox
Chuck Wagon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That Chiefs game better be on Monday night. Shame to rob this team of a high profile primetime game. There's no way you can guarantee no Titan stepping on that field isn't positive. If you are doing that, then just stop testing, proceed with the season like normal and hope no one dies. -
Week 1 this year. All offseason there was positive buzz about his progress. I know the Jets are joke. But the last time we saw him on the field it looked like the game was still too fast in the playoffs. To come out and shred the Jets for 300+ yards on over 70% completion, feasting on inferior competition is a hallmark of a franchise QB.

So. Few if any fans are allowed at games this year. The teams that can have fans won't have a problem selling a meager allotment of tickets. Trevor Lawrence has been / will be hyped as "Andrew Luck 2.0". Does this set up for more outright tanking than we've ever seen at the NFL level? We have Darnold saying he can go and the Jets saying "that's fine, we are playing Flacco". The Redskins just tossed Haskins out of the rotation completely (saying Alex Smith is the backup) after a 300 yard day vs the Ravens. Seems like the perfect year for a race to the bottom.

Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football

They should be forced to forfeit if there is any evidence at all they didn't follow protocols. The Steelers should get a win and their original bye back too. -

Bills play the Broncos. Titans - Pats starts the week 18 schedule. -
Should the Bills play the Broncos?
Chuck Wagon replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. And the Pats-Titans can schedule for a later game. They are the ones who can't follow the rules, don't punish us. -

In the race with the Pats, this is a must win game. The only games different on our schedules are Tenn / Houston and Pitt / Baltimore. Houston looks like a complete walk over for the Pats, so we need to match that win. -
HUGE GAME TONIGHT-Denver Broncos @ New York Jets
Chuck Wagon replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The irony, the Jets will end up trading Darnold to the Colts for 25% of what they gave up to get him originally. The Colts will insulate him behind their strong oline and he’ll hit. Meanwhile the Jets will set about ruining Trevor Lawrence. Maybe they catch the Dolphins in back to back weeks sandwiching a bye. Maybe they catch the Raiders in a 1 pm game coming East. But they might be sitting on the toughest schedule in the league and that team is not seeing 3 wins. I almost want to play Barkley against them just because I don’t trust they won’t make a dirty play on JA. -
It's the difference in a trained scouting mindset vs an internet "draft expert". Professional scouts focus on the things a player CAN do and how can they improve in areas that need help. Internet "experts" focus on what a player CAN'T do. Anytime a former player or someone with a scouting background talked about Allen as a prospect, they gushed about him. The internet on the other hand focused on his games against P5 teams and said he'll never make it. Frankly I think if the Browns had a stronger stomach and were better run, they would have taken Allen #1 overall, but they got crushed in the media when they floated that and went with Baker.

Week 3 PFF Grade of Josh Allen
Chuck Wagon replied to mykidsdad's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After the last 2 decades, this franchise needed an anomaly. -
No one is designing NFL plays for QBs to stand tall in the pocket, scan the entire field and find the open WR. You've got guys like Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack wrecking shop. Your entire thesis is utter trash.

Chiefs @ Chargers - Romo is always right!
Chuck Wagon replied to Houston's #1 Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mahomes and Lamar having Butker / Tucker for a good portion of their careers is a really underrated boon. Most times those guys only need to get ~30 yards out of a drive and it means points. -
Would You Trade For Zach Ertz?
Chuck Wagon replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd trade for Allen Robinson..... -
MMQB: Why the Bills are where they are
Chuck Wagon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There's a pretty large segment in every fanbase that largely watches only their own team and an occasional primetime game. -
Josh is already a NFL starting QB and a franchise player. People pick nits, and he missed some things today, but those things are the difference between being a good quality starter who'll have you in the playoff hunt every year vs winning a MVP, not the difference between a bust and starter material.

God I hope Tre White is still happy at the fact he's guaranteed to make an insane amount of money. -

Sims always has been a JA supporter. I've never understood why a certain portion of "analysts" has been soo reluctant to recognize Josh has some of the best tools to come into the league in a long time, things you can't teach like size, athleticsm, raw arm strength. It just feels like there's a sizable and vocal portion who decided he was going to be a bust before they ever really watched him much and won't give him an ounce of credit for anything. Feels like if he was the exact same prospect coming out of a football factory college the entire narrative would be different about him.
