  1. One of these teams will take what we are offering.
  2. We can not let the narrative of this night being unwilling to give up 12 and 22 for a QB
  3. Broncos get Chubb. We go 12 to 6 for 53 & 56
  4. Mort does not look well.
  5. Espn is all Baker. NFL net trying to tease may still be Darnold.
  6. I’m going to have a legit panic attack.
  7. Beane is a wizard. Going to get Darnold or Rosen for 12 / 53 / 56
  8. PFT had a story about Arizona being out of a trade to the top because it’s a 12 player draft, with pick 15 they are viewed as being out of the top players.
  9. We’re going to 2. Just have a gut feeling. I think it’ll be 12 / 22 / 53 / 56. Giants will then be sitting with 12 / 22 / 34 / 53 / 56 / 66. Easily enough to get back up to 4-6 for Chubb or Barkley and still have 22 / 34. We’ll be left with a relatively normal draft (2, 65, 97) and all our picks intact next year.
  10. They'll get one at 12. They can worst case get one of Ward / Nelson / Fitzpatrick / James / Smith / Edmonds at 12. But if 4 / 5 / 6 are all shopping to move out, they can very likely go back up. IMO the Giants are currently asking too much, very few teams can match it, with multiple QBs on the board teams are willing to let the Giants sit and make a pick and see what 4 / 5 / 6 wants, unless Giants lower their asking price to take the best available offer. Who knows. Beane and DG could have had a deal in place contingent upon who is at 2 for months now.
  11. It's going to be Baker. More likely, the Giants have their price and no one has met it yet. The clock also isn't ticking yet. Does DG take the best offer on the table or does Beane blink and give up more?
  12. There's been reports that Dorsey loves Baker going back to January or earlier.
  13. Nah, take whatever is left over from Roquan / Nelson / Ward / Fitzpatrick / James / Edmonds at 12.
  14. It goes Baker - Barkley - Allen. Browns phone doesn't ring, they are forced to take Chubb. Broncos phone doesn't ring, Chubb is gone, suddenly they are calling Beane "hey Billy, sorry I tried to bust you up for 3 1st rounders. How about just 12 / 53 / 97." Beane is quiet for a beat. "John, is your phone ringing?" "I'll be honest with you no, it hasn't been Billy" "John, I'll tell you what I'm going to do. 22 / 53 / 56 / 97 for 5." Elway looks around the room. His value chart intern says "It comes close to checking out boss, we lose, but it's close", Elway, seeing the time ticking down on his pick relents "You've got a deal Billy". Bills take Darnold at 5, still have 12 / 65 / all future draft picks.
  15. I can't be the only one feeling like somehow Beane is going to walk out of this with Rosen or Darnold and only having given up 12 / 53 / 56.
  16. Smoke. But: 1) Baker 2) Barkley 3) Allen That's about the best start to the draft one could hope for from our perspective.
  17. Beane said he can get to 2 without giving up the 2019 pick. If he did put that on the table, you are looking at 12 / 22 / 53 / 65 / 2019 1st as being roughly equal to 5 / 40 / 71 / 2019 1st. Are the Broncos willing to put all that on the table to go from 5 to 2? If the Browns / Broncos / Colts want to trade down, the Giants could offer them 12 / 53 / 65 / 66 to get one of Chubb or Barkley, still have picks at 22 & 34 and the 2019 Bills 1st.
  18. The Giants have the pick we want We have the most to offer Right now Beane & DG are in a staring contest and are going to spend the next ~6 hours seeing who blinks first.
  19. Grossi has been anti-Mayfield from the start. Holding on to anything that steers away from Mayfield.
