  1. Anyone with playoff delusions is a moron, so I hope we lose out. Luckily the Cardinals / Raiders / 49ers / Giants all have games against each other.
  2. As annoyed as I am with the conga line of talented CBs leaving us in FA, I do believe you need to keep taking that position so I agree. The best run teams keep taking shots on pass rushers / CBs / WRs. Really hoping we end up with pick #1 and the team sitting at 3 is desperate for a QB. Picking up more draft picks while getting whoever is left over between Bosa and Oliver is a very enticing proposition.
  3. Our offensive coordinator job is currently a career killer. No "proven track record of success" OC on his way up the ladder towards HC would even entertain our phone call. Which leaves us sifting through the fringes of failed former OCs, position coaches getting a promotion or college coaches.
  4. If Bosa or Oliver is on the board when we pick, just take them. Then go all offense the rest of the draft.
  5. I would spend too much money to get Saffold / Paradis / John Brown / Tyrell Williams That hopefully locks up LT / LG / C and gives Allen two WRs who can win deep. I think the value is going to be on DL where we draft (which isn't not a need) in the 1st round, but following that up with BPA spread accross WR / TE / OL / RB could maybe put us in position to be half decent for Allen.
  6. Oh, I completely agree. We won 2 games, so we won't have any 0-16 jokes. But it still pisses me off when fans of other teams laugh at it.
  7. So we aren't competitive against the Pats on Monday night, don't deal for any draft picks or more WR help, and now Peterman is QB again. I'm trying hard to remind myself they have a big opportunity to overturn things this offseason, but man, I'm losing faith by the moment.
  8. "They have too many good receiving options" is not a debate I'm going to entertain.
  9. Contrary to popular belief at OBD, multiple pass catching options is a good thing.
  10. To say McDermott is out of answers, he had to have answers to start.
  11. I'm not holding my breath on a wild day. I think the Cowboys jacked up the asking prices for everything when they gave a 1st for Cooper.
  12. Dead serious, play him at QB. He was lethal on the ground as Oakland's QB (now 5 years ago). If we are going to have to run the gimmick stuff to move the ball anyway, play him at QB.
  13. Shady I think last night was the team's last stand. I can see them not wanting to move Shady before the home primetime game against the Pats, but last night pretty much sealed up any delusions of playoffs. I think they sit Allen all year and won't be concerned with having a safety outlet for him. I'd say Benjamin if they could get anything for him, but the receiver market seems pretty flush. It seems pretty clear McBeane is dead set on building the defense above all else, I would be surprised to see them take pieces out of that. I've been saying for a while that KB needs to be used like a "move" TE. But the guy plays smaller than anyone in the league, I don't think he has the stones for that type of role.
  14. Brady does this and it’s an “amazing block”. If this was Allen / Anderson / Peterman throwing this “block” it would all be “Lol look at the Bills QB get blown up”.
  15. The other shoe in the Pats WR trade rumors. Gordon should consider it his last warning, most Pats players don’t get that curtousy.
  16. Feels like there's two types of games when we play Brady. The ones where we think we've got a chance and then get blown out and the ones we know we have no chance and get blown out. Tonight is the latter.
  17. I think Rosen and Allen are both trash. Rosen supporters want to shift the narrative about his supporting cast, but it leaves Allen's in the dust.
  18. Gronk doesn't score over 12 ppr points for my fantasy team
  19. If I ran the Bucs I’d see if someone like the Giants were willing to do something crazy for Jameis and get out of paying him ~$25 mil a year.
  20. I've reached the point in my Bills fandom where I never expect the team to return to the "elite" again. If they ever do, great!, but otherwise I just go through the Sundays comfortably numb.
  21. Golden Tate - WR who can consistently get open underneath Tyrell Williams - WR who can take the top off Matt Paradis & Rodger Saffold - Rebuild the interior of the oline
  22. Carr for Bortles + the Jags 1st Raiders get ANOTHER 1st, Gruden can try to play guru on Bortles, Jags get a QB who can be serviceable and not kill the team.
  23. He'd be a real interesting piece to help complete the Bears defense.
