Would you rather be the 3-7 Bills or 3-7 Jags?
Chuck Wagon replied to KingRex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You think it sucks that we passed on Mahomes and Watson, the Jags passed on both to take a RB who has spent half his career hurt, when Dalvin Cook / Joe Mixon / Alvin Kamara / Kareem Hunt were all available with their second pick. Imagine Mahomes or Watson with any one of those RBs replacing Bortles / Fournette and (Cam Robinson (OK last year, torn acl this year)) with that defense. Yikes. -
Aaron Jones is the real deal, they just have a terrible HC / OC. IMO, unless Brady retires, the best fit for him is the Pats. They desperately need a stud RB and need to transition the load off Brady. Brady can potentially last a couple more seasons if they go back to playing how he did as a rookie, ball control offense with good defense. But I'm not convinced he can last several more seasons with the bulk of the offense on his shoulders.

Peterman has DPOTY on lock, right?

It’s worthless. Half the fans just get black out drunk for the Bills game and don’t have an accurate view on the league. Showcases like tonight slap them in the face with the fact we aren’t even playing in the same league as the top teams. They cope by claiming it’s ruining football and not entertaining. -

That’s a misleading stat at best. The highest scoring offenses may not have won THAT particular season, but Peyton won SBs in both Denver and Indy, the Pats certainly have won plenty, the Saints, the Packers, the Greatest Show Rams. The NFL has been slanted towards offense for decades now and the Super Bowl has more often than not been an offensive “who has the ball last wins” for years. -

It’s clear the Jags caught lightning in a bottle for a couple games of Bortles last year. You think we have lament on Mahomes? They could have drafted Mahomes and any of one Kamara / Dalvin Cook / Kareem Hunt / Joe Mixon last year instead of Fournette / Corey Robinson. That’s tough. -

Saints / Rams / Steelers / Chiefs / Pats That day is now. If McBeane doesn’t bring in a dramatic influx of talent that can impact the passing game this offseason, they aren’t surviving another year. -

Who cares. At this point us complaining about the Pats is like Wyoming complaining about Alabama getting a break. We aren’t participating in this league. -

Hire Mike Leach. McDermott is not equipped to coach in this NFL. -

God I hope the Bills find a QB in the next decade. 15 years of Mahomes doing this and us continuing to wander in QB hell is going to be really hard to stomach. -

They got Zay 10 picks after White. They very well could have had Mahomes AND White.... -
Is this a playoff team with Tyrod?
Chuck Wagon replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even with Tyrod we still lack offensive playmakers. I think if we had even Miami's level of WRs (Stills / Wilson / Amendola / Parker / Grant, a very underrated group but not one anyone would call impressive) we'd be in contention for a wild card spot. But that being said, outside of the Texans game and MAYBE the Monday night game with the Pats it's tough seeing games where Tyrod + some better offensive skill players swing the outcome. -
Dude was a couple of weeks away from getting a chance at the QB job in Denver and broke into someone's house at 1 am.

Get a nice quarter zip instead of a jersey...

How Would You Handle Our Current Season?
Chuck Wagon replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Any players named are obviously in 20/20 hindsight. All I'm going to say is it was irresponsible to not bring a veteran QB in the moment McCarron was dealt, which Beane has admitted as a failure on his part.
