Kyler gaining 20 pounds for the weigh in then refusing to do any drill is a red flag IMO.

Report: Bengals looking to trade WR John Ross
Chuck Wagon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From the scouting reports I've heard, he's terrible at tracking the ball in the air. Once he gets the ball in his hands he can make stuff happen and he was pretty productive in the red zone where things are tighter, but he's a major let down due to his inability to make a play on a ball in the air downfield. -
I wasn't aware signing some FAs (of which there are several who would be dramatic upgrades to our roster) and moving around in the draft / drafting players are mutually exclusive ideas....

Best one year wonder?
Chuck Wagon replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The '00s Browns are the poster children for this: Derek Anderson / Braylon Edwards / Peyton Hillis / Reuben Droughts (had 2 years but otherwise nothing) -
AAF needed $250m emergency investment to make payroll
Chuck Wagon replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought I just saw a thread where someone speculated the league lead by Trent Richardson and Christian Hackeburg would kill the NFL after the league strikes in 2021.... -
Inside Info (somewhat) - Kyler Murray
Chuck Wagon replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My not so bold prediction, both Murray and Haskins are off the board by pick 4. San Fran has traded down before from a high spot, I don't think the Cardinals have any immediate delusions of grandeur and would be fine restocking and the Jets need to get some picks back from the Darnold trade last year. If Jacksonville / Giants / Miami / Denver / Washington / Oakland / maybe Cincy falls in love with one of these guys no way do they hope they fall down the board to them, they'll go get them. -
Marquise Brown LisFranc surgery
Chuck Wagon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he was the biggest BS factor of Oklahoma getting in over OSU in the CFP. He got hurt in the Big 12 title game, Oklahoma is a different team without him, they lied and assured everyone he would be fine for the playoffs. He clearly wasn't. -
With expectations higher, is anyone else calm?
Chuck Wagon replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm calm, but only because we've sucked for 20 years and I've bought into the false hope with this team in the past. At this point, if they figure it out it's all icing on the cake, I've learned a long time ago not to let a Bills loss ruin my Sunday. -
If you evaluate Haskins or Murray to be better than Rosen and someone is willing to give you halfway decent value for Rosen then you make the trade and take the QB you think is better than him. Frankly, given what rookie QBs cost and the importance of the position, if there's a chance you aren't sold on Rosen, take the guy you like and let him battle it out with Rosen.

Cardinals tweet their support of Right Josh
Chuck Wagon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All this twitter love for Rosen feels like the type of thing that precedes: "Adam Schefter reporting the Cardinals have agreed to trade Josh Rosen to New England, will select Kyler Murray #1 overall" -
Ravens trading Joe Flacco to Broncos
Chuck Wagon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Unless Flacco gives up a bunch of money, I don't see why Denver restructures. I also don't think it rules them out from drafting a QB this year. They can cut Flacco at any point in the next 3 years and owe nothing with no dead cap. -
What do you want to see this offseason: Free Agency
Chuck Wagon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only players who can be signed right now are guys who were cut. 3 guys have been signed. I don't know what you think the Bills are missing out on right now. -

Chuck Wagon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Golden Tate would cost more because he's actually productive. Humphries as I mentioned is also a way better option than Cobb. Foster and Zay really came on at the end of last year, I don't think we need to pay for an expensive WR coach or take our young players off the field in favor of a guy who hasn't been good for 4 seasons despite playing with arguably the best QB in the league. -

I think Cobb is washed and hasn't been effective for multiple seasons now. -

Chuck Wagon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Humphries is a name I hadn't really considered, but I think he's very good as a slot guy. I would be perfectly fine signing Humphries to lock down our slot and taking a WR in round 2-3 to go with Foster / Zay / Duke Williams. Put the real money on the lines, especially guys like Saffold who might simply be victims of a cap squeeze on their current team. -

I'm going to cheat and use my $15 on: Paradis / Saffold / Trent Brown / Maxx Williams / Humphries / Phillips. -
Which non-Bills draft pick stung the most?
Chuck Wagon replied to Buffalo86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Big Ben, then Wilson, then Mahomes. There were a lot here that really wanted to draft him. It's not a hindsight pick. -
Could the Bill's end up with 2 first rounders?
Chuck Wagon replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But from the view of common sense logic it's better to have a high 1st and a high 2nd..... -

That's the 1st round vs the 2nd round. -

Chuck Wagon replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Depending on who is on the board, I'm in the 9 > 24 & 27 camp. But I think the argument with Oakland is deeply flawed. It basically depends on them not liking a QB enough to take him at 4 but then liking one enough to give up multiple picks to get him at 9. It's nonsensical IMO. If Oakland likes a QB enough to move on from Carr, they likely get a pretty decent return on Carr then either trade to move from 4 to 1 or 2 or simply take their guy at 4. -
"Parks and Rec" vs "The Office"
Chuck Wagon replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Office certainly started out better but dragged and trailed off badly once Michael left. Parks & Rec had a terrible first season but I think was more consistently better for the duration of the show. -
Bills/Redskins Potential Trade Down
Chuck Wagon replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Every fanbase wants to trade down (and most franchises too). The idea of getting a 2 for 1 is always appealing. IMO there seems to be a pretty decent difference in the talent level from who'll be available at 9 vs 15 or later. I'm not sure we should move backwards unless it's very clearly worth doing.
