  1. The Titans can say whatever they want about Mettenberger, but until that card comes in with a different name than Mariota I'm not believing any of it.
  2. A lot of maneuvering to free up cap money here and there, with most of the clear free agent targets off the board. Something big in the works trade wise?
  3. So do we now get to play the "We could have had ODB and Jimmy Graham over Sammy Watkins" game?
  4. Latest I heard was Demarco to Philly
  5. Is Matthews deal + Shady's dead money > Shady's 2015 cap hit on our books?
  6. If we can add Brees, it's a no brainer to me. Give them next years 1st and EJ for Brees.
  7. Percy would be the perfect pickup for us if his head is right and the cost is good. With Cassel, the offense will likely be based on runs and quick passes, there's definitely ~10 touches available for a guy of Harvin's talent in our offense.
  8. I'd think it would be really interesting to have Gilmore, Browner, Graham, A. Williams and one of Robey / McKelvin / Duke Williams / Brooks / Rambo in the nickel. Talk about DB depth....
  9. He's nowhere near Hernandez, but he's clearly better than Gray/Gragg. Plan A was Revis. Plan B was Iupati/Boling/Bulaga. They took their swing and missed. A player like Clay upgrades our talent level, at this point I'd be happy to have a player of Clay's level come here.
  10. Versatility. He's a bit like Aaron Hernandez as a guy who can lineup as an in-line TE, lineup in the backfield as a fullback or split wide. To put it in perspective of our roster, he's what Marquis Gray and Chris Gragg hope to be on their best days.
  11. I want Bulaga and Wisnewski. Those are the two best oline available and Glenn - Wis - Wood - Incognito - Bulaga is the best line we could put together. Lance Kendricks, Britt, Spikes, Ellis all seem like good bargin FA for other needs.
  12. This, go all in on Revis and restructure Mario/cut Urbik-Williams and add one of Bulaga, Bowling, Iupati or Wisniewski
  13. Pernell McPhee got $40 mil / 5 years / $16 guaranteed
  14. Pernell McPhee to the Bears
  15. I think Crabtree should be a top target. If healthy he dramatically improves our 3 WR sets.
  16. I really want one out of Iupati, Boling or Wisnewski. I'll take any one of them, they are far and way better than the rest of the interior linemen. One of those 3 and Bulaga should be our top two targets. I could see Iupati getting 5/$40 with 25 mil guaranteed. We could sign him at $7-$8 mil of our cap, but he would let us cut $5 mil of salary in Urbik and Williams. Giving up $3 mil of cap room for Iupati seems to be a no brainer.
  17. Great move by OBD. Great to be on the side of guys taking less money to stay (similar to Cobb and Green Bay). Hughes might have left $ > 5 mil on the table and we weren't going to be replacing him with anyone better.
  18. Shady - Bellcow Brown - primary backup Powell - special teams / backup 3rd down back Dixon - Special teams / short yardage back
  19. Williams only saves us money after June 1st. I think he'll be on the roster until then.
  20. I don't think it's unreasonable to imagine we'll bring in at least one defensive player Rex is familiar with, regardless of Doug or Rex making the decision.
  21. A lot of people saying Bulaga & Doug Free (I'd like to see Derek Newton) but a tackle AND a guard would surprise me. Glenn, Henderson, Kouandjio Icognito, Richardson, Urbik, Williams Wood I expect a guard to be added. Richie or Urbik will likely be the backup center. That would put us at 9 olinemen. One of Williams/Urbik/Icgonito might not make it out of camp, but I would be pretty surprised to see them add 2 starting linemen through FA. I think our RT will likely be whoever wins the job between Cyrus and Henderson.
  22. Pay that man his money
  23. Unless Revis shakes free, I think Iupati will be their big early target. I could see getting in quick for him and then letting the market play out on other positions.
  24. Iupati Vernon Davis Locker Derrick Morgan Kenrick Ellis Dawan Landry
  25. Kiko is a nice young player, assuming he gets back healthy. He's not Kuechly 2.0.....
