Which trade do you prefer?
Chuck Wagon replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bell for a 2nd is laughable. Clowney, at that price, I would say yes. Rudolph for a 5th feels like the type thing where we should be getting a 6th back too. I've almost always been in the "can't trade a 1st for a player" camp, and the draft worked out perfect for us, but for a while when it looked like Oliver was likely gone and we'd be taking someone like Jonah Williams, thinking we could have just gotten Odell Beckham for that pick was giving some serious "hingsight is 20/20". -
Do you guys think Mark Clayton should be a HOFer?

Lol. No. -

The new Browns. -
If McBeane could get that for him he'd be gone already.

Yes. Though it seems people that make statements like that find politics in everything anyway.

2 Robert Foster's and 5 Dion Dawkins in '18...
Chuck Wagon replied to akcash's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not sure if it's just because our offense has been that bad for that long or if people don't actually watch non-Bills games, but I'm not seeing where a whole bunch of B- / C+ players are going to come together to make a dominant offense. -
2018 - loaded QB class, Beane grabs his QB 2019 - loaded Dline class, Beane grabs what might have been his top DT 2020 - loaded WR / RB class...... Almost as if Beane has done some advanced scouting. A far cry from previous regimes where it felt like our draft pick either had to be from Clemson or was a random dart throw.

Better offseason than last year.

Baker mayfield at kentucky derby
Chuck Wagon replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nah I hated that dude from the moment he tried to plant a flag in the middle of The Shoe. Nothing he's done since has remotely made me rethink my opinion of him. -
“Still Miles Away” -Colin Cowherd
Chuck Wagon replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Best part about Cowherd is the Lebatard show getting drunk / high celebrities to pick the same games as his "locks" and usually beating him. -

The Jets feel like a classic "FA Splash" that disappoints team. They certainly have some guys in their D front 7, but have glaring holes on the roster at CB and on the Oline and did little to nothing to address them. Adding a high priced RB and LB sure feels like flash over substance in 2019. Dolphins? Come on. I'm firmly in the pump the brakes camp on the Bills kool-aide, but if we finish well outside the playoffs the Jets and the Dolphins aren't going to be the reason why. -
Jags Allen at 7 and Taylor at 35 They basically got a guy who has been mocked to them at 7 at pick 35 (granted he's gotta stay healthy) and a guy who was never mocked to be there at 7.

Not convinced Gronk isn't on the Pats in Nov-Dec next year.

We have 1 blue chip player (White), a couple guys just below that level (Hyde, Hughes) and some very interesting young players (Allen, Edmunds, Oliver). Other than that it's a roster full of very solid role players or huge question marks. Frankly I don't see what some see where they think we are a piece or two away from Super Bowl contention and we are getting hated on nationally. Seems like national perception is pretty spot on, it's pretty widely recognized McBeane seem to be doing a pretty solid job of adding "blue collar" guys who put the work in and are capable of being better than the sum of the parts, but still need a lot of things to go right to make a playoff appearance. I think it's entirely possible we are a much improved team but don't catch some breaks and end up back at 6-10 again.

Predict the OL for week 1 of reg season
Chuck Wagon replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree with both of you. I think Nsekhe is our best LT. MAYBE Dawkins steps up and keeps the spot, but he's been put on watch. If they don't think he's the long term answer it's in the best interest to put him at guard, see if he can be a long term answer there and that second contract is going to be cheaper than as a LT. Nsekhe can hopefully be a solid answer at LT for a couple of years, allow the rest of the line to solidify and then we draft that "franchise LT" type. -
The Competition for WR6 on the Bills Roster
Chuck Wagon replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's been reported by several Bills beat writers the Bills were basically just tossed out as a name in OBJ rumors but had no real substantial talks. -
Which One - Fitz, Tyrod, or Barkley as Your Your Backup?
Chuck Wagon replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitz, easily. Job of backup QB is to be able to come in for a couple of weeks and keep everything moving. Fitz, throughout his career, has proven capable of coming in as a backup and winning some games. -
RD 3, Pick 74: RB Devin Singletary, Florida Atlantic
Chuck Wagon replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's not just pundits and talking heads. The Pats and Ravens took both guys within 10 picks. They both have a pretty distinguished record when it comes to drafting defensive talent. So lets not pretend that it's just some Mel Kiper wannabees who valued and wanted those players at that pick. -
RD 3, Pick 74: RB Devin Singletary, Florida Atlantic
Chuck Wagon replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, IMO Winovich / Ferguson were BPA and also a need. But I know the Bills have been linked to Singletary throughout the process. -

I still think this is a very hard pick to justify with Winovich and Ferguson on the board and the state of the DEs on our roster.
