Still amazed that this still needs to be explained. -
Article: Can Tyrod live up to hype prior to 2015 season?

This is what hit me at first, too. Most mainstream outlets barely even mention him after Cassel and EJ, let alone hype him. The better questions are: a. What does he have to do to be considered a bargain pickup ? b. What does he have to do to be considered a FA steal ? c. What dos he have to do to "shock" the NFL d. What does he have to do to earn the loyalty of Bills fans ? My thoughts: a. Start or come off the bench to lead the Bills to 10 wins b. Start and win a playoff game c. Win the AFC d. Everyone's different - just taking less money to not go to Denver for the chance to start and help the Bills win is enough for me. -
I actually went with, "TT Wrecks the Pats" Doubly hoping TT wins it now.

Watkins takes shots at old coaches

No. 4 Years in Baltimore under good OC's and lots of preseason action =/= Rookie. Tyrod's question marks surround the ever-present concern on his accuracy. If that's improved, he will be $. -

Tyrod Taylor: 'May the Best Man Win'

Fair concern. Vick only played 2 seasons of college ball and did get hurt even then. Very reckless. TT does do better at running out of bounds than Mike did. Both are still very tough guys and would prefer the contact. Saw TT throw a GT DL off him to the ground - could not find the clip. EJ is bigger and heavier but hasn't been Mr. Durable at all .. TT played in most games all 4 years at VT only missing a couple for injury or being RS. In true TT fan club fashion will also add that TT is 6.1 and 217 - not huge but Vick was 6.0 and barely 190. Both were gym rats and tremendous athletes but TT takes it all much more seriously and 27 lbs is a lot especially if all muscle. No homo but TT is a lot closer to an indestructible tank than MV1 ever was. Repeat no homo: http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Tyrod-Taylor-Trains-With-Colin-Kaepernick/b6d872db-c54a-47f2-8b94-6cd32824ff9d TT is second from the end on the right. -
Tyrod Taylor: 'May the Best Man Win'

Rather think of it as president of Bills fan club but am an admitted VT homer and am glad TT is getting a legit shot and giddy that it's with the Bills. Most personally satisfying since the Bills took Bruce #1 overall. Vick never really had the same talent around him as TT would have if he wins the job this season. The only time Vick did was the 1.5 season stretch when he had Deshawn Jackson, Maclin and Shady at Philly. He did very well that year +, made the HOF for being the only QB to throw for 3 TD and run for 2 TD in the first half of a game. All Bills fans would love to see TT or EJ do that - if even just once .. No matter who wins, I can't wait to see the mainstream media finally STFU about our QB situation and take Buffalo out of the cellar for that positional category...be even better to me if was TT who shocks the NFL. I happen to believe he can. -
Tyrod Taylor: 'May the Best Man Win'
moshermw replied to RyanTalbotBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The posted report said, despite his stature, Taylor "clearly" had the strongest arm. It's also fairly well established now that TT also throws a great deep ball. With Harvin and Sammy on the filed there's no way teams can put 8 or 9 in the box - they are both track fast and can beat man coverage. Clay and Shady are both matchup nightmares for LBs. With any of the 3 QBs this offense is going to be very difficult to defend - Taylor's ability to also run makes this offense almost indefensible. -

Handled that interview very well. Acknowledged the competition but was respectful of the other 2 (3) QB. Could tell in his voice, he's been waiting for this shot a long time and is living his dream. Win it or not, he got his shot. Bring on TC and Pre-Season. -
McCoy and Harvin's production this year
moshermw replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Proof that the SW is finally saturated on the Bills QB discussion. Nobody commented on the OP assumption that Cassel will be the trigger man. Don't think it matters to Shady and Harvin's fantasy value or Watkins/Clay for that matter cuz of the OC and the weather in the second half. If (big if 's) he starts and plays the same way he did at VT, Taylor might be the best Bills best fantasy player. He's guaranteed to touch it every play and would be a legit threat to run at any time and to score in the redzone. -

Nice, well researched article on TT. Bills could do a lot worse ... dude was a bargain even if he just pushes Ej and Cassel ..which he clearly is. Bring on TC and Pre-Season. -

No. No. I meant the other 3 QB's go down and are unable to play at all. TT is the only one left who can play but one arm is in a sling. -

Bills Teammates Rave about Tyrod Taylor
moshermw replied to RyanTalbotBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Easy one first: Head Coach John Harbaugh split up his team during Monday’s practice at M&T Bank Stadium. There was Team Tyrod and Team Flacco, with the second- and first-team offenses squaring off in an 11-on-11 scrimmage. Team Tyrod won. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Tyrod-Taylor-Impressing-In-Training-Camp/e7667379-51a8-4aaf-a0ad-3421da5a247c The second one is harder to prove with any actual article. Best way to prove is to challenge you to find me TT stats with him playing as Ravens QB and clearly with the rest of the #1 offense in a game or pre-season game. Not an accident that it might be really hard for you. The reason is from admittedly not revealable sources. Shaky...I know. but go for it on the challenge. -

Bills Teammates Rave about Tyrod Taylor

No. Tyrod is thicker and much more solid and durable than RGIII. Dude is the second from the right .....beast ... no homo. Tyrod Taylor Trains With Colin Kaepernick The Ravens quarterback has worked out with the 49ers quarterback this offseason in Miami. Backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor has been working with one of the NFL’s rising stars this offseason to help take his game to the next level. Taylor has spent some of his offseason training in Miami with a number of NFL players, including San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Taylor posted a photo of them on Instagram after a recent workout, and a video from 49ers.com showed Taylor working with Kaepernick at the popular Bommarito Performance Systems. Cornerback Jimmy Smith was also in one of the workouts. “This is a big year for me, so I’m just trying to showcase what I can do each and every day,” Taylor said during a recent interview. Taylor entered this offseason looking to put himself in a position to capitalize in the final year of his rookie contract. He has played sparingly during his first three seasons, and the Ravens plan to bring in additional quarterback competition during training camp. As part of his training regimen, Taylor has bulked up during the offseason. He said that he currently weighs 214 pounds, and that he has focused some of his training on adding upper body strength. “I wanted to put on a couple more pounds,” Taylor said. “I felt like I was a little light at the end of last year.” -

Bills Teammates Rave about Tyrod Taylor
moshermw replied to RyanTalbotBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pretty well documented that Flacco would never allow it. Insisted the coaches never let TT play with the #1's in a game (reg season or pre) or practice. Team TT and the #2's beat Team Flacco and the #1's in practice often. Tyrod wanted a chance to start THIS year - that is also well documented - Tyrod says it in every interview. Not happening in Denver or Baltimore. How people lose sight of this so easily is mind boggling. Tyrod was all but undefeated in Pre-season, FWIW. Preseason =/= practice. Funny how the MOST RECENT DATA is that the players (Graham, Nigel, Freddy) and coaches (Kubiak, Rex, Lee) are saying TT is the real deal now yet we bring up Ravens and VT data. Still a long way to go but glass half full makes me feel like TT might be the steal of the offseason. All made possible because he is quietly confident, paid his dues, shut up in Balt and learned and was now ready to show the world he was a starter - $$ be damned. If I'm wrong I'll go quietly, peacefully. But if I'm right ... Lenny ... you will have saved the lives of millions of registered voters .... errrrr.... I mean the media won't be able to lay off that story and the City of Buffalo will fall in love with TT.
