Ask the Baltimore Ravens..The year TT leaves, Flacco gets hurt and they had nada. -
What data you using to conclude Tyrod can't win a SB ?

Which QB do you want the Bills to draft?
moshermw replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Prescott has the closest skill set to Tyrod and EJ - 4th round is good to add depth here. -
Brutal. I'm going with - that was a good place to leave that horrible performance - meaningless game.

Great Googily Moogily - I need a Snickers

Too funny. Carolina Branthers !? Carolina Panthcos !? -
There were two TD's called back in that game - at least one on a complete ghost holding call. Whole game changes if those hold up.

The Pro Bowl Solution....or at least one...
moshermw replied to Marty McFly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Like the rookie idea - they are trying to make a name for themselves. If there isn't enough, extend it to 2 year players or first year starters like Tyrod. Will watch with interest this year because of TT. Other than that, I watch as a sort of a last fix. As one poster said, it is football and by July we will all be Jonesing it again - I enjoy while I can. Same thing with Combine and Draft. -
Bills hire first full time female assistant coach

So still can't see her feet in that pic but - at least in 2001 - she has some nice wheels.... -
Bills sign Greg Little along with Jarrett Boykin

Good pickup. Baller. Still need that burner on the other side of Sammy. -
Nice quick read on new WR Jarrett Boykin

Nice quick read on new WR Jarrett Boykin

Definitely won't take the top off the D. Is smart, smooth as silk, great hands, big, strong and tough. Like the article said, someone to go over the middle where TT was a little sparse. Happy to play and is good on special teams, too. -
Summary: 1. Played at VT with TT. (is VT all-time WR - broke Antonio Freeman records). 2. Started for Packers 3. Bills moving to bigger WR - Boykin is 6'2" 220. http://bills.buffalonews.com/2016/01/06/bills-sign-wr-jarrett-boykin-wholl-play-wide-receiver-in-2016/

A few moronic plays and bad calls from 10-6
moshermw replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Giants game set the tone of the rest of the season. They purposefully baited our players into PFs by admitted design. Then it became the story - Bills are undisciplined. These blanket snippets that become true just cuz they are repeated so often. Like Tyrod can't throw over the middle We win the Giants game and at least one more if the refs picked up on the Giants' baiting. And at least called offsetting if not, PFs on them. Starting with the punch thrown by ODB on our DB. -

Dunne interviews 6 NFL guys about Tyrod Taylor
moshermw replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good article concept and well executed by Dunne. Lots of really good work there. Lol at a couple of the "experts" questioning TT's work ethic ( more out of admitted ignorance than any observed issues) and his strength and conditioning. TT is a gym rat like you read about and is as strong as a horse. I think TT says bring the R Wilson comparisons on. Wilson is better at some things certainly - quicker reads, etc. Even right now TT is more elusive (saying a lot) and is notably faster on top end speed. The reads will come quicker with more starts with the same OC and receivers. OT; jarrett Boykin was an excellent under the RADAR pickup for the Bills. -
Dude is $. Excited for 2016.

The Rob Ryan Poll to End All Polls Poll

Voted this way, too but am pretty close to 55/45 on all three in how convinced I am that it was horribly bad till I do some research later. Slight lean to not good. -

Keep EJ for 2016. Never know when you'll need to force an offsides - seriously, he's as good as anyone else that's legitimately available, has a whole pre-and-season in Roman's system and he's already paid for. Draft one in 3rd round, have Tyrod show him how to be an NFL starting QB just like Flacco showed TT.

Loved watching him lead the Bills the year. There were rough spots but all in all he did more than I even expected on the field. It was almost exactly a year ago that I brought him to this board's attention. I knew he could escape, run and throw and was a good leader and professional from watching him at VT but he got even better than I thought in his 4 years with the Ravens. Areas where he surprised me: - consistency in accurate throws. He threw a nice ball at VT but every so often there was the WTF throw. He still has them but are very much less often. And when he's on it's more like surgery than I remembered. - off the field approach and professionalism - he was a good kid at VT and was never in trouble but the way he handles the team, media, fanbase, Buffalo community and himself has been most impressive. I think there are zero Bills fans that aren't happy having TT be the face of the franchise from a professional image point of view. - Dude is legit fast - both change of direction and top end - he got caught from behind some at VT - I don't think I saw that once this year unless someone had the angle Needs work (AKA nit-picking): - decision speed - will come with time as the game slows down and he develops rapport with Sammy and the corps - touch throws - has a hard time with these - will improve - needs to switch from Ranch to Blue Cheese Thanks for a great season, TT !

Comparing TT to EJ is apples/oranges. TT did not cost the team a first rounder and even less $$. TT is better than EJ - hence winning the true QB competition - but he isn't a SB QB - yet. Not continuing to look for a back-up/successor/franchise QB would be silly but TT at QB for 2016 looks to most objective fans as the least of the 2016 worries as the Bills lick their 2015 wounds. Dude showed up better than 99 % of fans thought. I'm in the 1% that knew he would ball out and was disappointed in the lack of clutch plays at the end of games. He's better than that and I've seen it...We will again in 2016.
