Tyrod Taylor played better than expected tonight...
moshermw replied to fridge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Playcalling in the final 4 plays was awful. Did not ply to the strengths - especially with a green center. -
That injury was/is game changing and season ending. Probably Sherman's fault somehow.

A few thoughts about the Seattle Game (BillFromNYC Tribute)
moshermw replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great summary = agree with all except I thought the last play should have been some sort of rollout option, buy time, maybe get to the pylon. Losing Eric Woods is the real answer but the TT pitchfork folks will blame him for not being clutch. To them I say please find and replay the Minnesota Vikings loss to the Lions. Bradford is inept compared to TT. -
Bills @ Seattle first half thread
moshermw replied to TakeYouToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Everyone understands that the offsides was whistled so the play was dead, right ? Add the 15 dead ball PF and that was a 20 yd play. So instead of the 53 yd FG try it would have been 33.... UFB -

Yards per play for Seattle is 9.5. hard to do that vs air. -

Have a winning performance. Either throwing, running, or just leading the team. We will win. -

May not be anything but my own thoughts but one does need to consider the look on Tyrod's face when the questions - from his own press corps - start coming about whether he's like Russell Wilson or not. If you still think Taylor thinks he's got nothing to prove to the nation - and now he has the stage - just check out the look(s) on his face starting at 2:50: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_KOy5qupSs Dude can't wait .. look for him to show up. -
Anyone Still Suckin Down the Kool-Aid
moshermw replied to billsfan_34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When one takes in the whole body of work objectively - like say a computer, we are the best 4-loss team and the 8th best team overall. Chill out: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/nfl/sagarin/ -
3 horrible offensive performances and losses in a row. Bradford is dreadful behind that OL - can't roll him out or scramble. I'd take Diggs and Patterson right now.

Who has the best chance of pulling off an upset?
moshermw replied to BmarvB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All one needs to do is watch the look on TT's face when asked if he thinks he's approaching being as good as Russell WIlson. Dude is on a National TV mission and he at least will Shady and maybe an 85 % Percy. Go to the 2;50 mark - $ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_KOy5qupSs -
Anybody Know the Situation With Jarrett Boykin ?
moshermw replied to moshermw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah. it's like 4.7ish. But so are TE's so was just thinking he'd be another potential quick, cheap signee that could contribute right away. So he is still a FA ? -
Was talking with another Bills fan about this Sunday and we couldn't find anything on a short search. If the WR corps is hurting and we're looking for WR that have familiarity w TT and he offense, he's on the list. He and TT set all the passing records at VT together and played all preseason before not making the final 53 as part of a VERY crowded list of WR we were looking at. My how 3 months makes a difference ... Not the game-breaker PH is but he's big, strong, runs great routes, and can catch a cold at least. Posted this buried in the PH thread but no bites. Go.

Updated (SEA) Bills 2016 Drop rate and Bad Pass Rate
moshermw replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
TT never started a game for the Ravens and only attempted 37 passes until 2015. Right answer is it's more than 1.5 seasons but it's not 6 - that's crazy talk. And how many of his 22 Bills starts has he had at least 1 pro bowl prospect WR on the field ? less than 10 ? -
Updated (SEA) Bills 2016 Drop rate and Bad Pass Rate
moshermw replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As a TT and VT homer I agree with this with the following added thoughts: - Sam Bradford last night - most would say he's a better pure passer than TT. With shaky protection not even Bradford was effective with better WR than TT has had in most of our games - NFL passing is all about talent and timing. TT doesn't throw people open as well as others but he's also had a different package of WR every week - tough to develop timing and chemistry. - Only a cheerleading ironic fact but like to point it out when folks smut TT. The prevailing thought is that mobile QB's are not a good option because they inevitably get hurt. TT is the only skill player on this Bills team that has taken nearly every snap - and he handles the ball on every play. He's a tough, smart guy and by all accounts a great leader. - Maybe not gonna carry the team on his back to the SB but the Bills are lucky to have TT until Jim Kelly II shows up. -
OK, not my prediction but I'll go with 1 catch for 73 yds, 1 TD
-
Good move in a situation with few options - and leaves draft, roster and salary cap options open in '17. Speaking of few options but someone who knows TT and the offense, does anybody know what happened to Jarett Boykin ? Not a game-breaker speed wise but is big, physical, runs good routes and can at least catch a cold. He and TT set all the passing records together at VT. Not sure how close he was to making the 53 with all those WR options ..... oh, what a difference 3 months make ...

OK, Dude. Long day for the Bills. That folks can't see TT is our best skill player right now and thankfully stays healthy is sad - for him. Guess such scrutiny traditionally goes with the QB position. -

OK. Got it. I'll go with, I'm passionate on this subject. - And my message didn't get through because of said passion. TT might not be Romo but that's fine - Romo is not on the field tonight. Niether was: - Watkins - Goodwin - Shady TT was and was helping as best he could. No continuity or talent on O today and we still put up 25. 32 if they call the PF on TT on the first drive and Carpenter hits. 32 wins you 90 % of NFL games. -

A few thoughts about the Pats* Game (Tribute to BillFromNYC)
moshermw replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fvkin neither could Brady. Completely unfair. If Hogan was still a Bill, he'd have been the best WR on our team today. TT is the only skill player that hasn't been a puvvy an gotten hurt. FOAD. -
OK, let's do this: Tyrod Taylor
moshermw replied to TakeYouToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow. Just checked in. Was clear to me that Tyrod was the best skill player on the field for the Bills today an people are throwing him under the bus ?! UFB. So all you fvcks that said we don't want a running QB cuz they get hurt need to just STFU. TT had one of our 3 TD's today cuz he can run. And he's the only star on the offense that isn't a wide open gaping vagina that HASN"T BEEN HURT YET EVEN THO HE HANDLES THE BALL ON EVERY PLAY. How do you not get that !? The bills are damned lucky to be 4-4 and have TT. If Hogan was still a BIll, he would have been the best WR the Bills trotted out today. Let. That. Sink. In. -
"Experts" Picks week 8 versus the Pats
moshermw replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rex and Rob will have the D ready to disrupt Brady and at least contain if not frustrate. This one is 100 % on Lynn. Called a crazy bad game last week. If he gets cured of his analencephalitus, Bills win at home. -
- 4th Quarter playcalling. - tackling WTF - we have literally no #3 or better NFL WR For the life of me, I don't understand running the wildcat when ahead, with ball, in the 4th qtr. You keep theball in the hands of your best player - aside from Shady, it's TT. Also, can't process why when Bills need to comeback, we don't have TT roll out on every play. He throws very well on the run. Suh knew right where to rush. Gotdammit. Roll. Him. Out. It's not that hard. Lynn layed an egg in the 4th qtr. Did not help a gassed D out at all.
