This is the new reality for teams paying their QB franchise money. You have a couple of young talented guys playing on a rookie deal (Shakir, Coleman). Some mid-tier free agents you hope will outplay their contract (Samuel, Hollins, MVS), and you take a few shots on guys with elite measurables and hope your coaches strike gold (Claypool, Hamler, Isabella). How many teams, paying franchise QB money, have elite WR rooms?

I hear he already dropped a pass from Josh. He'd fit right in with last year's WR group.

I'll take a swing and say Spencer Brown. One of the most athletically gifted athletes in the entire NFL. Still relatively new to the position and being coached by one of the best in the business. Was able to stay relatively healthy last year and was showing a lot of improvement. Oh, and he's going into a contract year. All the elements to become an All-Pro level RT.

We didn't lose the Diggs, Poyer, Hyde, Tre, & Davis from 3 years ago. We have ascending young talent, Josh Allen, and we're getting Milano and Daquan back. June 1st cuts are coming, and Brady will be running his own offense rather than calling plays from Dorsey's book.

I'd say he's an elite run defender. That's not the sexy part of DE play that get one a huge contract. But it's an important part of playing the position. That said, he does need to work on his pass rush.

Well we all know that the 40 time is the best predictor for success. That's why Tyquan Thornton is just killing it right now.

This goes both ways. People who haven't put in the work, think they know more about scouting than Beane and the pros. And criticize Beane's every pick, like their own "selection" was an all-pro in waiting.

But I saw this guy's name on at least 4 mock draft/scouting sites taking about his potential. So clearly Beane and the scouts, who have been studying these guys all year, have no idea what they're doing. 4 sites!

It's just unfortunate that every single good player in the draft was taken between picks 28 and 32. What are the odds?
