This is a good point, and I hope you're right about Bass slipping. I saw players from both sides lose their footing all night.

Week 2 - Bills at Fins - Post game thread
somnus00 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
My money is on, "not enough plays to Kincaid and Keon." -
He took a big step forward last season. I've been predicting a breakout year for him. He one of the most athletic freaks in the entire NFL, and he's still pretty new to football. Seems like Beane and the staff also think Brown is going to be too expensive next off-season. This extension is risky, but the reward could be an all-pro RT. Brown has all the tools.

Week 1, Cards v. Bills - Predict the Score
somnus00 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
But how many yards/catches does Kincaid have? Jeez, you're not even trying anymore. -
This is the James O'Keefe who likes to hire bad actors to catch "controversial content," then heavily edits his videos to push a particular narrative. He's settled defamation lawsuits multiple times, and is currently under investigation after being accused by his board of misappropriation of business funds. This may or may not be true, but the O'Keefe guy is a feminine hygiene product...and the bag used for said product.

UDFA and local boy Joe Andreesson makes Bills roster
somnus00 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
We can't get our hopes up. It is a great story. And the young man may be in a great spot. Babich seems to excel at developing LBs. -
I think Jerry is a bit jaded after caving to Dak and Zeke Elliot contract demands in the past (with sub-optimal returns).

Man, Wayne deserves to be in the HOF, but he had the opportunity to share the offensive load with other playmakers (i.e. Marvin Harrison), and he had Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck throwing him the ball. Johnson had none of that. He was THE focal point of that offense with guys like David Carr, Sage Rosenfels, and Matt Schaub at QB. Just my opinion, but Johnson deserved the HOF more than Wayne. It's scary to think what guys like Andre Johnson or Megatron could have done with good QBs.

Close your eyes McDermott haters…he’s a top 10 HC
somnus00 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like McDermott, and I think he's a good coach. A good leader. And I like that he's self aware enough to adapt. But he does need to figure out how to outcoach the best coaches when it matters (playoffs). -
They still regularly do a podcast together with Joe Miller and occasional guest hosts. Look up Overreaction Buffalo.

Ravens Alternate Helmets/Unis Look Pretty Cool
somnus00 replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall
Looks similar to the Vikings. Maybe that's just me. -
Remember the year Belichick spurned the Jets, quit a day after taking the HC job in New York, and took the Patriots job? His new girlfriend wasn't born yet... he was 48 years old. Having said that, I wish them well. They're two consenting adults.

52 every gameday.

I heard it takes Keon an hour to run 30 minutes.

Is James Cook a Top-Five All Time Bills Running Back?
somnus00 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
This conversation is way too early. I like Cook, but right now his first two seasons just about match Antowain Smith's first two seasons as far as total yards. Smith had more TDs. -
Matt Parrino - "Claypool has been most consistent WR during OTAs"
somnus00 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
This should be nothing but a positive for the team and fans...but I can already see the negative Nancy posts "Keon is a bust being the 4th WR...Beane should be fired." -
Tough guy with all-world athletic ability. He just couldn't stay healthy. Hopefully he catches on somewhere.

After shaking hands with Goodell, the top picks jump from the dais to crash on tables. Make it happen, NFL.

How many teams are paying a single star WR with a franchise QB deal on the books? Are the Dolphins really going to try this with 2 star WRs? That's going to tie up 40% of the salary cap on 3 offensive weapons. It's an interesting strategy, Cotton.

He had a serious injury 9 months ago. He's now putting some stress on a surgically attached achilles tendon. It's normal for there to be soreness, tenderness, and favoring of the opposite leg for a while. It took Von several weeks of live action before he really started bending his knees and trying to be explosive. It's way too early to take anything from Rodgers limping right now.

You mean he skipped ATOs.

Excuse me, but Marcus Easley?!?!?!

Everyone knows that Josh is better than Tua. That's not an insult to Tua. What would be an insult to him, and Phins fans, would be to say Tua is better. Still, it would have been better for him to say that both are great QBs...but I love that he went with his answer.

Wouldn't mind another CB behind Elam either.
