  1. To be fair, that was the NFL's #1 offense they played today. But yeah, giving up 90 points in 2 weeks isn't good.
  2. Ingram or Elam. Whomever happens to be Rasul's backup.
  3. I may be in the minority here, but right now I'd love to see the Bills run through Houston, Baltimore, and KC on the way to beating the Rams in the Superbowl. Revenge tour 2024. But I guess I'll settle for the Bills beating anyone on the way to a superbowl win.
  4. My guess is that he is essentially another safeties coach. Which is a good thing, because I worried about his neck/health every time he made a tackle last season.
  5. Also, 30 years ago we didn't know about CTE. These are well paid athletes, sure, but they're also human beings who deserve some level of protection.
  6. An isolated incident is one thing. He has a pattern of dirty hits. He's lucky he didn't get more.
  7. There would be a tissue shortage in western New York.
  8. Last season, while Mahomes and the Chiefs (and their fans) were crying about the refs correctly calling back the game winning TD for false start, Kelce was giving Josh his props for a hell of a game. Even though it was Kelce's crazy impromptu lateral TD that was called back. He's a dude that respects the game. For comparison, Mahomes complained to Josh about the refs, basically telling Josh, "you just won because of the refs."
  9. I appreciate your excellent response. Though I would mention that NFL history is replete with speedy RBs who could not translate their college success to the NFL. Often because they lack the vision or shiftiness that I suggested Samuel may lack. I liked the Samuel signing, and I'm excited to see what he can be in this evolving offense. But so far, screens to him aren't working, where screens to Shakir consistently find success. Perhaps it's lingering effects of the toe injury. I suspect we'll find out as I don't think Brady will stop running Samuel screens. I'm definitely hoping you're correct. Thank you for the discussion. No sarcasm intended.
  10. He's fast, but I don't know that he has the shiftiness or vision to weave through traffic like Shakir does.
  11. The screen game to Samuel has been objectively bad this season. Just because one works doesn't mean screens to him are a good idea. I like Samuel as a weapon. But seems to me his game should be short and intermediate routes. He's done much better with these than with screens. Not everything has to be an argument.
  12. Beane likes to sign his own. Draft and develop. And these guys are all "Buffalo" guys.
  13. As long as they stop with the screens to him. But yes, his acceleration on that TD was impressive. His toe must be getting better. Showed a lot of burst on that play.
  14. This is the chiefs we're talking about, here. Something tells me he suddenly goes 3/3 in FGs, and 2/2 on XPs.
  15. I never understood the whole "rebuilding" narrative. Besides Floyd and Morse, the Bills lost a bunch of guys who were no longer contributing at a high level (if at all). We didn't lose the Poyer, Hyde, White, Diggs from 3 seasons ago. Don't even get me started on Gabe. The on-field production lost, was absolutely replaceable with player development, a decent free agency, and a good draft. The Bills happen to have an elite GM who had a plan.
  16. Josh's running ability limits our screen game success. Defense's eyes are in the back field.
  17. Can the Bills please take every designed play where Samuel gets the ball near the LOS, and toss it. That's all I want for Christmas.
  18. I don't even think Kevin Costner can fix this Browns team.
  19. That's around the time Philips would get injured anyway. He was always bad as a run defender. Looks like he's worse this season. He always wanted to rush the QB, which he was pretty good at in spurts. Maybe obvious passing downs he could still do something. But I'll pass on this one.
  20. This chiefs team is truly the most boring great team I can remember watching. Their games are so predictable.
  21. When you take a small school CB in the 6th, you don't expect him to before an elite corner, either. Benford is locking dudes down. That doesn't make Elam a bad CB.
  22. Von started the season playing really well. Today, after a 4 game suspension, he came out looking very rusty. The same happened with the early 2000s Colts, too. We don't want a rusty team in the playoffs. Resting starters is a no for me dawg.
