He created cap room to sign 2 higher priced FA needs, added some o-line guys that Kromer is familiar with, and filled depth with athletic potential guys that he's hoping our excellent coaching staff can resurrect. Then he uses top draft picks to fill the trenches. I don't agree with everything here, but it's a reasonable scenario that would leave the Bills better than they are right now in my opinion. I would be happy with this.

I think he would adjust. McD didn't use as much of a rotation in Carolina when he had guys like Greg Hardy.

New NFL rule. A team cannot have a star quarterback the first season after losing their HOF quarterback. They have to suffer with bad QB play for at least 5 years. I'm looking at you Colts (Manning to Luck), Packers (Favre to Rogers), Chargers (Brees to Rivers to Herbert).

I was intrigued with the idea of Butler as the DC if Frazier ended up leaving. This added title leads me to think that McDermott had the same idea.

I'm still in awe over the move he put on the 49ers CB last year. How one gets 5 yards of separation from a world class athlete...within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage is beyond me.

3rd quarter. Our defense forces a rare 3 and out on the Chiefs. Our offense gets the ball with great field position and a chance to take the lead. Daboll proceeds to call 3 runs to someone not named Josh Allen. Needless to say, we go 3 and out... Too many series like this throughout the seasons. I wish Daboll luck on his next team and I hope that team isn't the Buffalo Bills.

Knox was raw coming out. But TE is also one of the hardest positions to learn. Part o-line and part WR. You have to learn two trades simultaneously.

I was really low on the pick of Epenesa. I did not like it at all. I thought he was too slow to be an effective rusher, and not strong enough to move 0-linemen like he did at Iowa. I just didn't see his place in the NFL. These are the moments that I'm very happy to be wrong. Go Bills! Go Epenesa!
