I agree with all of this. I'd just add that these turnovers will kill us in the playoffs. And our "skill" positions need to step up (apart from Diggs and Allen).

I don't understand why it's so controversial to critique the team. Yes, the Bills are a really good team. They're still atop the standings. But there are serious issues that need correcting. And they've been present for several weeks now. It's possible to point out flaws without being a sky-is-falling type of fan. Our skill positions on offense are missing apart from Allen and Diggs. Is that lack of skill? Dorsey failing?Josh forcing it to Diggs? I fit one was expecting a lap from Knox this season. Especially after that big contract. And don't get me started on the abysmal turnover rate...

The qualities that make a good head coach, aren't the qualities that make a good coordinator. NFL history if littered with great coordinators who made terrible head coaches. And you have great head coaches like Andy Reid who was never even a coordinator before becoming the head guy. It is still very early, but Daboll may be a guy who is a better HC than he was OC.

They tried to make him into a run stuffing DT which he hasn't done well despite his size. He's a penetration style DT. And he's great at that.

I've been most impressed with his willingness to self-evaluate, and evolve. A lot of head guys (I'm looking at you Rex) are far too stubborn and/or egotistical to change. It seems like McDermott really looks at himself critically and makes adjustments to his game.

Not sure if I'd call it a weakness, but certainly a big question mark is the ability for the coordinators to show flexibility/creativity. This defense now has a few pieces that don't necessarily fall into the normal Frazier/McDermott style defense that we've seen so far in Buffalo. Miller, Bernard, Elam, Settle. These are different types of guys that would allow a DC to get creative. Is Frazier willing to do that, or is he a conservative guy who is set in his ways? The offense now has personnel to run 2 tight end sets, empty backfield with Cook motioning out wide, etc. Will Dorsey be creative, or will he feel the need to be Daboll 2.0 since they had success in the past? McDermott, to me, has shown a growth mindset (willingness to self-evaluate and change) so I'm not so worried about him. I don't know if Dorsey and Frazier have the same mentality.
