Style points don't count. You're absolutely correct. I don't think anyone is mad that the Bills won. But the way in which you win can give you insight into future results. And the way they won this game gives many a bad feeding about the rest of the season. That's understandable, no?

Quit showing me the weeds when I'm just trying to see if the grass is greener.

What does that have to do with the fact that Von has the leadership and respect of his team mates to call this kind of meeting? Nothing. He earned the C on his jersey for a reason, and it's not because he cashed his checks, packed it in, and took his time coming back. It's because he worked his tail off to come back from a torn ACL in 10 God damned months! What's wrong with some of you guys? Imean, I know "fan" is short for "fanatic." But some of you guys air your strange grievances in the most illogical ways.

Devils advocate...what is Josh is the problem?

Nice. Choosing to leave out a huge part of my statement in order to further you stance. Here's my complete statement (again, with the underlines and bold print to assist you): Josh's 3 points in the first half also put the Bills in position to lose that game. This is a team sport, the fails don't fall solely on anyone. I love Josh, he's the QB I want for this team, but the offense has been putrid for the last 3 weeks, and bad for 5 of the 7 games. Josh deserves part of the blame for this as well, no? Bro, just admit to yourself that you made a mistake and move on. It's for the best. -

It’s all Josh right. Nothing to do with anyone else on O just Josh. 🙄 Here, I underlined and added the bold print to make it easier for you. -

Let's say those things didn't happen. Is 10 points in the half against this weak defense a good outcome? What about getting shut out until the 4th quarter last week against that terrible Giants defense? Or 7 points in the first half the week before? I am not placing all of the blame on Josh. I love the guy. My point was that no one person deserves all of the blame. But Josh has not been playing well. -
Josh’s stats so far - the Ken Dorsey Offense

Coach McDermott doesn't have issues benching guys when they make key mistakes. Yet Knox keeps getting the start. He needs to ride the bench with Kincaid getting the start. And like you said, 11 personnel seems to give the Bills a better shot. -

2 time SuperBowl champion, SuperBowl MVP, future HOFer, and a guy who has worked his @ss off to join his brothers on the field after an ACL tear less than a year ago... yeah he deserves no respect from his teammates. I really try to remain civil here, but your take is ridiculous.

Both need to be benched. Move Shakir and Morris into their spots. I don't see a trade happening for a #2.

A trade is the only way to save the season
somnus00 replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sure, they'll trade for Mike Evans, then sit him on the bench for 7 weeks because the staff can't get him up to speed on the playbook. -
You see his touchdown, though? Seems to be the only guy on offense showing heart. Wish we had more like him.
-
Yeah, I mean, Dorsey doesn't just call plays on gameday, right? He's supposed to be teaching, communicating, and planning throughout the week to get the offense ready. This offense does not look ready.
-
I agree. If a coaching, or player change is going to be made (and I'm not dating it will), it will happen with a long week to adjust.

I'm not saying anyone should be fired. I just have a question. Is there any other team in the NFL as hot/cold a the Bills? One week they look unbeatable, the next they look like they're competing for a top 5 draft pick. This inconsistency is frustrating. Since my daughter was born, these games don't ruin my week the way they used to. But it's still annoying.

Thank God. Things have been going too well around here lately. We needed someone to give the pitchfork treatment to.

Week 5, Jagoffs v. Bills - Predict the Score
somnus00 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I tend to be a pessimist with Bills' games. But 31 - 21 Bills after a slow start from a circadian/Tre White dip. -
This is a well known postulate of the Time Cop Theorem.

I thought DaQuan was our defensive MVP last year.

Tre White Injury Updates (Torn Achilles now confirmed)

We're just never going to see Von and Tre on the field together, are we? -
I had a bad feeling going into this game. I was completely wrong and couldn't be happier.

Week 4, Fish v. Bills - Predict the Score
somnus00 replied to newcam2012's topic in The Stadium Wall
This game feels a little like the Bengals playoff game to me. While I think the Bills are the better team, the dolphins offense is just firing on all cylinders right now. Buffalo doesn't seem to have it all together on offense yet. Miami 34 Buffalo 24. I want to be wrong. -
Hypothetically… Brian Daboll gets the boot….
somnus00 replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. Dorsey is fine. A competent coordinator; one whom no one will confuse for an innovative OC. But how many innovators are out there? Reid, McDaniel, Shanahan? The last 2 are stacked elite playmakers as chess pieces. Maybe add Siriani to this short list. Point being, which creative offensive mind do we hypothetically turn to with Dorsey gone. Believe me, I'd love one. This isn't a post praising Dorsey.
