  1. Is Beasley elevated for tomorrow night? When do they have to make that announcement by... if they haven't made it already?
  2. Yes. But he's a Bill now and if he steps on the field I'll be cheering for him and chanting Bease with most everyone else.
  3. Tyreek nursing a sore ankle, he'll rest it all week and they'll tape it up but there's little chance of it feeling good by halftime in a cold and snowy Buffalo. Add in the return of Tre (since the last Miami game), Miami's brutal 3 week road trip and Tua's recent struggles and this game would have blowout all over it... if our receivers could go back to catching the ball and we could get a serviceable running game going.
  4. Anyone know if Miami flew back home after both West coast games? Be rough to fly home Monday after the Sunday night game and then fly to Buffalo Friday for Saturday night's game, be even rougher if they did the West coast flight the week before too.
  5. No harm in kicking the tires on Bease, I'm not expecting much but not much would be better than the damn near nothing McKenzie is giving us.
  6. No kidding, KC won't be playing Denver in the playoffs but if Wilson didn't get injured Denver wins that game. The Jets on the other hand were the 7 seed before the late game finished, yesterday was no gimme.
  7. No kidding. I had the flu in 2019, never been through anything like that before, 5 weeks flat on my back in bed. Realized then that the few other times in my life I thought I had flu I must have just had a bad cold. Jets may get pumped full of saline and meds to get through this game but if they have any kind of serious flu they are going to struggle.
  8. Bills/Bengals have 3/5 at home Chiefs have 4/5 away Hoping the Chiefs slip up in one of those away games
  9. To go 2 - 0 after all the crap this team has had to deal with over the last 7 days, amazing effort!
  10. In 2014 I was trying to tailgate at Kenny's lot in Detroit, I say trying because apparently they need some kind of license for drinking in the lots and with the game being unexpected they didn't have time to set up the license/permit.. whatever. Anyway the police/security came by to inform us no drinking in the lot. We ended up in a bar nearby with Kenny and had a blast. Not sure if the rules have changed since then, or if the permits have been set up. Anyone know?
  11. I should introduce you to my brother, he arrived at the Toronto airport with his drivers license because he read somewhere that he could fly from Canada to Barbados with a drivers license. Or, not border related, remind you of when Marshawn Lynch thought Buffalo was in NYC https://nesn.com/2013/10/marshawn-lynch-didnt-know-buffalo-wasnt-part-of-new-york-city-when-bills-drafted-him/#:~:text=When he was drafted%2C Lynch,” Lynch told E%3A60.
  12. I agree, just saying there are other ways to make it work where the game stays in Buffalo. For the 2014 game in Detroit they let all Bills fans into the lower bowl, random seating, it worked well as there were few Jets fans there and the Lions fans mainly showed up to support the Bills and sat in the upper level. Not sure how this game would work as Cleveland is closer to Detroit than Buffalo, so a lot of Browns fans will make the trip. The seating will be a problem, I guess Browns fans on the Browns side Bills fans on the Bills side... it will be bizarre either way and I think we lose a bit of the home field advantage.
  13. If the game can't be played on Sunday we have no gaps elsewhere to fit it in, so it has to be Saturday or Sunday somewhere. Looks the Bills/Browns are being dealt a crappy situation but they and the league need to make it work. Moving it to Monday night (or Tuesday if needed), then moving the Bills/Lions to Sunday works in every way but people's feelings over Thanksgiving. So the network would hate losing the noon Thanksgiving game and America would hate losing the noon Thanksgiving game, but the Bills/Browns need to get the game in and we are already in week 11, so there isn't a lot of time to make it up. As for "hate" I mean in the sense of not liking it, not like "I hate this team!"
  14. Sooo, why can't our game get moved to Monday night and our Thanksgiving game be moved to Sunday.... other than America and the networks hating us.
  15. No chance, the stadium is now configured for baseball only and is currently undergoing a major seating overhaul. https://www.blogto.com/sports_play/2022/10/rogers-centre-removing-seats-never-hurt-toronto-fans-again/
  16. The problem they had the last time this happened was clearing the stands of snow, and the field of snow, and then finding a place to put the snow. They intended on using a type of fire breathing dragon (okay, not a real dragon, but same idea) to melt the snow once it was out of the stadium, but it couldn't happen in time.
  17. Move it to Detroit on Sunday and then.... we all just stay in Detroit for 4 nights until our Thanksgiving game in Detroit 🙂
  18. Called my mechanic to get the winter tires put on my car, he said he's booked up for 3 weeks, I said I'm going to Buffalo on Sunday, he said come in tomorrow.
  19. Which street? Was just on my street and they're talking leaves.
  20. At the half-ish way point we only have 2 losses and they are both on the road. Need to win the conference and get home field advantage, can't fall behind KC.
  21. I'm starting to think Green Bay losing last week wasn't the best thing that could happen to them.
  22. Thanks Jack, still looking. Do you hav lot 2, what game(s)
  23. I hate 8:20pm starts, I'm hoping to be in my car driving home by 9:00pm at the latest 🙃
