I think he has more value as a low end starter or rotational player than he would in a trade situation. His contract is relatively cheap for next year, and we need bodies that know the defense, not just a bunch of rookies and new guys again.
He's a bridge until they get a better EDGE defender to go along with Hughes in the draft (along with some DTs).
Also, (as others said) who is going to want him based on his body of work so far?
This is spot on.
Rosen, on the other hand, has more of a prototypical qb body. Big hands, broad shoulders, big meaty face. It'd be hard to pass that up some some scrunch-faced little prick.
It speaks to mental toughness and confidence, IMO. I do think that McD possesses these traits, but the coach/QB both have to have it. And its been awhile since we've had a QB that instilled confidence in the team.
He had to see players perform at the NFL level before he could really evaluate them, which was good for signing free agents.
But a GM has to be able to evaluate college talent better than what he did. He also lacked long-term vision, which explains his troubles with the cap.
Prickly personality with the coaches and media. Not privy to important decisions.
Just not a good GM.
Alright, I can wrap my mind around cryptos, blockchains, bitcoin, ethereum.
But Big Bang Theory? Common, man!
I'll take three rolls, gift wrapped in stromboli, please.
His real test will be this week. NE is going to try to run the ball down our throats (IMO).
Division game, Uncle Tom hobbled a bit, the Gillislee factor. I'm envisioning alot of smashmouth football this Sunday so lets hope he shows up again.
