  1. I'll need 13 slots this week along with hookups for an RV. We'll be filling a pool when we get there so we may need some pumps and generators. Cant wait to see everyone!
  2. I heard he arm wrestled Aaron Williams and will be 'Leading the Charge' this Sunday unless Roscoe can find a ride to the stadium.
  3. It was a high throw, contested, and he had to stay in bounds. But thats a catch he should make. He had two hands on the ball and let it go right through.
  4. Like the one to Logan Thomas at the 1yd line. Tough catch, but one that you see guys make week after week.
  5. Hes a solid #2 who can put up 800yds/5tds next yr. Now that we have someone who can get a guy like him the ball , I'd overpay him or someone like him in FA. Draft someone to man the #1 spot and you have a good core of wrs.
  6. That's exactly right. We do need a player like him again now that we have a qb who can throw it. But paying him for the past two seasons while we figured out the qb wasnt the right move. But next year, I feel like a high priced receiver (either high draft or big FA) is a necessity. Now is the time you go get a guy like Watkins and a true #1 receiver and put them with Zay and Foster.
  7. It says they told the coach and wrestler days before that he had to wear a cover. Then they showed up to the match and had the wrong type of cover. It's a stupid rule, but if you're gonna do a stupid sport like wrestling, you have to go by the stupid rules. The ref should be in trouble if he let other kids wrestle with long hair, but if this is his thing (enforcing the hair rule), then I say non-issue. But you just know half this country will be up in arms over this crap.
  8. Everytime I get invited to one of those, I get the same thing: a giant jar of pickled eggs. I love watching whoever gets it have to deal with a 2 foot tall, 12 lb jar filled with purple eggs. There's always a 'fight or flight' moment when they size up the jar and try to decide what to do next. Take it home? Leave it wherever we are? Throw it away? They always take it with them, but after that its anyones guess.
  9. I think the way to beat him right now is relentless pressure and blitzing while using a spy in case he runs. One aspect of his game he needs to work on is a 3 step drop where hes throwing quick slants. I think that they will not give up the run or the long pass, but will try to pressure him. We have a weak oline and no running backs. It's in Allen's best interest to develop his 'quick hit' game early on to get them to back off.
  10. Well if that's the case, then it makes sense. Everyone is their own person. I just feel like if you can shed all that crap (i.e. drug testing for weed, suspensions, probation, and a higher level of scrutiny based on his history), he might enjoy football and life a little more.
  11. Someone else said it before, but why not give the CFL a shot? The talent is still there and he'll make some money doing it. At least then he can focus on football and not have to look over his shoulder for a useless drug test. As far as I know, he doesnt have drug issues beyond weed.
  12. Has he threatened to kiss Suzy yet? Anyone as flamboyant as Bills Dad probably has some skeletons hanging out. Nobody who hasn't 'whipped it out' is that outspoken and goofy. Even his name, Dick DaGreat, has people on edge these days.
  13. Yeah, Reed almost worked his way off the team in his first couple of years because of drops, after winning the Belinikoff in college.
  14. This will be a pretty good one. Great game for him to be mic'd up.
