  1. That's a big deal, I think. Now you put Tre on Parker and Levi on Waddel. Tre struggles more against the bigger WRs than smaller ones, but I feel like Parker is the bigger threat than Waddel in his 2nd NFL game.
  2. Yeah, but it wasn't just some jokes. It went on for years and Lorne told him to knock it off, but he kept going every week.
  3. I honestly think that the Steelers game was us shaking the cobwebs off, and getting our conditioning in order. I expect another sluggish game this week in Miami, in 90 degree heat/humidity. Then we have Tennessee and KC to worry about in weeks 4 and 5. All that said, I think we go on a hot streak again this season after the bye. We have too much talent on the field and too many talented coaches to not make that happen in what should be a banner year for us.
  4. Maybe they are sick of hearing about Star and want to sign someone they can use
  5. @Dunkirk Don Care to chime in on land purchases in or around Dunkirk? I heard most of the land has been gobbled up by investors.
  6. These two quotes are exactly what a sexual assault thread on TBD is all about. Well done, both of you!
  7. This would be awesome.
  8. I actually thought that Addison was being 'groomed' for a trade earlier in the preseason. There were a number of articles about his newfound leadership, and how he is in great shape, etc.
  9. See you down the road, ice. I love you.
  10. Yeah, it takes Bill Gates a few hours before he is fully acclimated to his new body.
  11. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31869693/nfl-carry-flexible-roster-rules-2021%3fplatform=amp The rules include: -Expansion of practice squads to 16 players, including up to six who have more than two accrued seasons. -The ability to protect up to four practice squad players per week from being signed by other teams. -Elevation of up to two practice squad players to the active roster, without removing any current players, before 4 p.m. ET the day before a game. -Elevation of an additional practice squad player within 90 minutes before kickoff in the event of a late COVID-19 positive test result. -Players placed on injured reserve can return after three weeks, rather than six as in normal seasons. -Removal of the limit for how many players can be activated from injured reserve.
  12. You can still protect up to 4 per week on the PS this year again (I thought).
  13. I think we see an injury to someone, and they go on the designated return list for later in the year. Similar to Kroft last year or 2 years ago. Otherwise, I think Boogie goes to the practice squad this year.
  14. He looked good last night on pass rush situations, where I think we will see him most often this season. Didn't notice any edge setting last night but wasn't really looking for it. I think with his giant limbs, he should work the Deacon Jones head slap into his game, against men or women:
  15. Damning, if true. Had no idea they were on team friendly deals
  16. Moderator infighting at this point in the season?? Not a good sign.
  17. Saw Louis at the Gilliard in Charleston a couple years ago and it was an awesome show. Looks like he skipped us this time.
  18. It's definately a different feel than the last 25 years. The team seems completely centered and focused, and the big stage doesn't seem too big for them this year. Maybe it's the cynic in me, but I still feel like there will be hurdles that we aren't seeing yet. But it also seems like whatever gets thrown our way, we have a good shot at getting past it.
  19. It really is the best genre! I don't know what I did before 90s music came around.
  20. Weird, I was just listening to 90's music the other day!
  21. I'd still rather listen to this garbage than his music.
  22. "He's like one of those old car phones with the bag and the cord. Big, ugly, and no one knows what the hell it's doing here. Someone meant to throw it out years ago, but we all have better things to do."
