  1. It took a year and a half, but we finally got John Brown! Let's go people!!!
  2. Epic Beef Nachos Supreme (Better Than Taco Bell) 53366SHARES Share138 Pin53140 Yummly88 You need to make this epic beef nachos supreme at your next game day. Seasoned ground beef, refried beans, cheese, tomatoes and green onions make such a great flavor combination. Have you got your menu all set for Super Bowl Sunday this weekend? If not, you do now. These nachos were inspired by my teenage days when we used to frequent Taco Bell. My repeat order was beef nachos supreme. This recipe is the next level version of that. Way better quality and taste, with the same familiar flavor combination. Sturdy chips, y’all You want to start with a good, sturdy tortilla chip. None of the thin and crispy ones. You want something that can easily handle the epic toppings. I like the Costco Kirkland brand organic tortilla chips. That is what is pictured here. You can use any brand, but just aim to get the sturdy ones. Report this ad I lined a baking sheet with parchment paper and put a generous layer of the chips on it. Then I start to layer on my ingredients. Refried beans I spooned on canned refried beans. They are thick, but I just make little evenly-dispersed piles. They will spread as they heat up. Report this ad Or, as one commenter smartly suggested, you could heat them a little first (in the microwave, in a glass container). About the ground beef: I like to use the best I can find. We are really loving ButcherBox right now! (I am an affiliate, but I purchase a box every month). The beef is grass fed, grass finished, and tastes fantastic! I season the ground beef with my homemade taco seasoning. It is super easy to mix up, pinkie promise! Feel free to substitute a seasoning packet if you wish. But I dare you to try mine! You may never buy the packets again. Best type of cheese for beef nachos Next I sprinkled on the cooked seasoned ground beef and TWO kinds of cheese – cheddar and Monterey jack. Report this ad If you want the cheese to melt smoothly, I suggest buying a block and shredding it yourself. If you have a food processor, you can grate two blocks in a minute or less using the grater attachment. That being said, it will still be delicious with pre-shredded cheese. Then I bake it for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. After taking it out, I add on the tomatoes and green onions. Of course you can do more add ons if you want. But this is a solid base recipe. And since I am super-fancy, I serve them right on the sheet pan. And voila, you have a better-than-Taco-Bell version of beef nachos supreme! Hey, that’s why football watching food is my favorite. Super casual, super chill and epically delicious!
  3. If Josh can take the next step and throw with anticipation, the passing game should be fun to watch this year. Diggs, Brown, Beasley, Kroft (if healthy), Knox, Singletary all have big play potential.
  4. Yeah, he was a Matt Rhule single digit leader for Temple. All American, solid fundamentally and totally a McD guy. He isnt really built for a full time pro starter, but he was an exciting college player to watch. He's a thumper and likes to hit hard.
  5. Agreed. And I didnt say he wasnt. I just dont think Clowney is worth the money and contract he will get.
  6. He did sort of take over the game for Seattle at times, but those moments are too far apart for 21 Mill/yr. Reminds me alot of the Mario signing. Whoever does it gets a very solid player who can take over a game, but dont expect him to do it very often.
  7. No taxes in FL, too, right? Or lower taxes? Either way, this is a decent signing for them, but contract is high.
  8. Set up beautifully a couple posts upstream. "Its the most wonderful time, of the year!!"
  9. Not a Bridgewater fan, but less of a Mitch fan. I'm just glad we arent in this conversation at all this year.
  10. This way would certainly be more attainable than expecting McD to put together an offense that can score 50+ and go score for score with them.
  11. Someone else said it in another thread last week, we have to build a team this year that can stop Mahomes. By having the best secondary in the nfl, that certainly gives us a shot. Depth is key and the nickle corner is very important in this defense.
  12. So 4L..... 4 years/50 million? Has Shaq ever communicated in roman numerals before?
  13. Stuff like this was in playboy and other magazines all the time. You could either mail in $1.00 and they would send you a catalog, or you could call a number and order it over the phone. Sometimes there was a credit card option where you write it all in and mail it, too.
  14. I hope he has an ugly section in it.
  15. Local Unicyclist Disappoints his Family, again.
  16. I think he'll surprise some people. Great leader in the college ranks. Not sure I'd go 7 years with him yet though.
