A sense of calm this week...

I think I speak for everyone when I say we know exactly how you feel. Multiple times a week. Every week. -

The Bills Learned a Lot From Two Brutal Losses
Captain_Quint replied to JMF2006's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The 60 minutes is a good callout. How many times this year did we see them with a lead and still out there throwing the ball? In the past, it was 3 runs into the line and a punt. It helps that they have the confidence and talent to do that now. -
Trent Murphy was worthy of the cap hit
Captain_Quint replied to Max Fischer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For one, Daryl Johnson was hurt last week and on the injury report this week, so it made sense to activate Trent tonight. He's a solid player when he is healthy, and as others said, hes well rested after about 8 weeks of inactive. -

What's exciting is that we probably have Josh Allen for at least 15 more years -
Roberts inactive this week is my prediction...
Captain_Quint replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is who he reminds me of. KOs are all about straight line speed and vision. And Robert's has that. McD sat him down this week, they had a conversation about the game, and that's the end of it. People are crazy to think that you pull a reliable all pro because a fan didnt like that game he had. McKenzie is hurt and he doesnt return kickoffs, he returns punts because he is quick and shifty. -

Ravens Game - What's on the menu?
Captain_Quint replied to Captain_Quint's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just do the fake ones. Kaiser rolls, egg wash, caraway seeds and salt. -
If mckenzie is 100%, it's a great week to run him in motion since its man coverage most of the time. Unless Beasley cant go, which would put McKenzie in the slot and split out from the line. The one formation that hasnt happened yet that the Vikings used to do was Diggs out of the backfield. He made a living back there for them, but we havent seen it yet. I feel like Daboll will come up with some kind of wrinkle this week that capitalizes on our speed, depending on who is healthy.

Ravens Game - What's on the menu?
Captain_Quint replied to Captain_Quint's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Crabcakes is a great call. -
Since Baltimore is only known for their crime, and you can't eat Ravens, what's on the menu this week for everyone? I'm doing an oyster roast for the afternoon games and beef on weck around game time. If I can find some Natty B'ohs in SC I'll get some of those this week.

John Brown need you to step up going forward
Captain_Quint replied to ILBillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I still think he is nursing a longterm injury. After plays, he seems to hobble around going back to the huddle and sideline. Maybe not enough to keep him out of the game, but it wouldnt surprise me if he ends up having surgery in the offseason for a random leg issue.
