  1. Do you know where we can get the autographed ones??
  2. Yeah, teams have some tape on him and are keying on his tendencies like every other qb in the league, which is where the cream starts to separate. It's hard to catch teams by surprise or execute flawlessly once it's on film. We see it every year where a QB just isn't hitting the passes anymore, or the D is a half step faster. It will very interesting to see how his game moves from here. But if he keeps floating balls, it will be a quick trip to the 2nd string.
  3. I remember this play you're talking about and I thought the same thing. The RB didn't even struggle to stop him at all. And Edmunds was moving fast, but he stopped him dead in his tracks.
  4. I like when he grabbed the Rams defender by the face mask and used him as a blocker. But I think that the one yesterday for real Bills fans was much more gratifying than the Minn run or even the Dallas one. Both of those were more eye popping, but yesterday was against NE and it meant more.
  5. I was shocked that Belichek didn't adjust at halftime and start sending more pressure. He played it this way last year too, and we swept them. I think the problem with his philosophy is that it doesn't account for how good of a thrower Josh has become in the last two years. Typically, Belichek takes away the most dangerous weapon of the opposing offense and makes someone else beat them. He's been successful containing Josh in the pocket, but it doesn't account for him throwing the ball all over the field. Their approach is fundamentally flawed and he's going to have to go back to the drawing board on how to try to defend us going forward.
  6. Dawkins and the rest of the oline played with their hair on fire today. Other than the KC game, I can't remember a more complete game this year for that crew.
  7. I thought Daboll called a great game today. The Pats D never seemed to have the edge and played on their heels all game.
  8. "Why would he touch him out of bounds?" That was the battle cry on that nonpenalty on Hughes. The answer is that it happens everytime. Stop being a coward and call a spade a spade. If Judon did it, it wouldn't have even been discussed.
  9. Yeah. Taron Johnson and Milano basically erased the TEs of new England. I rewatched the game, and it was a focus of the D for sure. And it makes sense. Alot of sense. Make the WRs beat you, and none of them are worth a *****.
  10. Apparently it has a 90 degree angle in it. Gross!!!!!
  11. Stevenson, McKenzie, Hodgins, and Kumerow. Josh seems to have some chemistry with McKenzie, but the rest are unknowns. I hope they go out and execute their routes and blocks today and it's not chaos back there. NE had a really good secondary, but we have a chance to throw to some people they haven't seen yet, which could be a plus for the Bills.
  12. This is a great point. Last year (until the end of the season) the news on Josh was "make him be a QB" and stay in the pocket. I remember new england giving him the Lamar treatment. Basically just forming a shell around the pocket and just standing there to make sure he didn't run.
  13. I just hope that Diggs stays out of his own head with the contact and grabbing. The refs are not going to call PI and defensive holding on the patriots in Foxborough. Not going to happen. So he needs to block out the noise, work through the contact, and focus on the contested catches. When he starts getting frustrated, he seems to get too involved with the pushing and shoving and loses some focus.
  14. Glove. Wearing. Mary.
  15. #6 - On Gilmore, we also saw the 'Gilmore Glance' on the 2nd TD by Gabe. He looked back behind him as Davis strolled into the endzone. He was fooled because it was an awesome play, but it was his responsibility from what I could see. That's the Gilmore Glance.
  16. Well we did get 2 sacks from f'n Efa Obada this week. And Carlos only has 4.5 sacks this year despite a 2yr- 13Mil contract. Not saying that he couldn't help us, but I think we have similar talent in Oliver and to a lessor extent, Harrison.
  17. Well that seems worse than it is then. I guess it's just red zone in key situations where they need to improve.
  18. What's the point of all this? The second someone screws up, I'm heading to the shoutbox to talk about their mother. We can't just stop now.
  19. Last year it was a strength (along with 3rd down conversions) and we won 13 games. We took a step back in both areas this year. It's not a surprise that we are struggling to put wins together (except the blowouts) when you fall short in those two areas. That needs to change this week and in the playoffs, or we will be in the same boat: competitive games, but no cigar.
  20. I think so. That was as of this weekend, so maybe these guys were showing symptoms or something. But who says if they are 'showing symptoms' or not? The team? Or an independant 3rd party? Just looking for a conspiracy angle here....
  21. I like Gabe because of the deception factor, plus he is a clutch receiver. He's a really good blocking WR, so a run is possible. But when Sanders is in there, he is not a good blocker, and even when we try to run with him in the game, there is probably a free defender running around not being blocked. Rewatch how Gabe engages the CB in the Carolina game. Then they fake him blocking, and he's wide open for his 2nd TD. Little things like this can also help our running game get from abysmal to mediocre.
  22. Haha....McD gave him an earful after that one. He's young, he'll learn. This will be a big offseason for him coming up.
  23. A Spencer Brown report may break the internet. The guy had 5 penalties and drank a beer while getting beat like a drum.
