I think that's a strong point for the Bills, after watching the rest of the league. So I think it's more of a league wide issue, due to teams being more injury conscience and nobody wanting to draw a penalty for leading with the head. I rewatched the Lions game last night and was surprised how many TFL and 1 on 1 tackles we made. So I think it's undue criticism on the Bills. Also, if you want to see a tackling clinic, rewatch the games when teams try and throw a screen or a pass in the flat. Our defense blows that up almost everytime.

Bills cancel Friday practice due to weather
Captain_Quint replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
So basically 2 days of missed practice this week due to the illnesses and now weather. And we have to travel for a home game and then play 4 days later, too. And we're slumping and need to win both games. Tough sledding. Let's see how mentally tough these guys really are. This could be the disruption that they need to get back on track, or just another folly in a season filling up with them. -
Cook and Dorsey still owe me 120yds and 2tds from last game. I put my posting reputation on the line saying he would have a big game last week and they laid down. That's not something that I'll forget nor forgive them for. Redemption is the only way those two will get back into my good graces.

Alot of mixed feelings on the Red Unis. I say it will help in the event that there is a snowstorm during the game, so I'll vote yes.

Allen is Brett Favre 2.0 He's going to have a long, amazing career filled with highlights and things that make even the casual fans turn their head. But he will also have alot of turnovers and may not ever reach the big dance because of that. Yesterday was two steps forward, two steps back for him. An unprecedented collapse at the end of a winnable ball game.

Xavier Rhodes elevated for Vikings game. Will he play?

Cam Lewis and Jackson were on the injury report this week too. Without White and Elam, and Lewis and Jackson limited, it makes sense to have another active corner. -
I agree with this. I think the only reason why he was at practice yesterday in that little media clip they released was so that they could list him as DNP-DNP-Limited instead of DNP-DNP-DNP for the week. I guess it's still possible that it wasn't a smoke screen, but IMO, that was the purpose of flashing him out there yesterday in uniform.

Diggs on track for record breaking season
Captain_Quint replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think he's one if the best coverage guys in the NFL already. In single coverage so far in his rookie year, he's allowed 4 catches and no TDs. It's a matchup to watch today, and could swing the game either way. The good news for us is that the Jets still suck outside of him, so I don't see us having a problem unless Josh has an off game. -
Diggs on track for record breaking season

Today will be a big test for Diggs vs Gardner. I'm predicting that Diggs has a down game, as Gardner is playing unbelievably and is probably the best CB in the game so far this year. I worry about his size, in that he can negate some of Diggs quickness, and potentially get to an errant Josh Allen pass or two with his long arms. But if Diggs can go out today and do what he's been doing all year to everyone else (including Ramsey), I think that will move him into the conversation for a 1st team All Pro year. -
Bills 44 Jets 17 The game will never really be close.
