  1. Just fire him now and let's get ahead of this thing.
  2. That is about right. No way Allen or Diggs. Honorable mentions: Johnson, Oliver, maybe a mention for Bernard or Dawkins.
  3. Draft high, and draft them often. Gabe is gone, Diggs will be soon as well. Shakir is proving to be a reliable target, but I think he is also the guy that the other team says 'Let Shakir beat us' instead of Diggs/Kincaid/Cook. Shakir doesn't have that extra wiggle to make him anything other than a solid, reliable target against zone.
  4. It's a way to keep other teams honest and show them that they still need to pay attention to him. Unfortunately, it's not working that great. Someone else pointed out that against the chargers, there were multiple times when it was Stef vs a safety 1v1 and he was covered with no problem on his route. That allows a team to spy Allen and Cook out of the backfield, or more attention on Kincaid.
  5. He also said something to Stef in that timeout. Maybe to throw off the Pats, or because he's a captain too, but he was intentional in finding him and talking to him at that timeout.
  6. My thoughts, too. We need a qualified OC who can put together a playbook in the offseason. The rancid Dorsey playbook that Brady is working with doesn't cut it when teams see tendencies. We saw it with Dorsey, and we are now seeing it with Brady. Hopefully Josh can play superman for the next month and will us to a Lombardi trophy, despite the stiffled offense this year and half of last year.
  7. Diggs looks hurt. His cuts are rounded off, and has little separation. The short passes on the bubble screens are Brady trying to get him an easy one. But that's not really what Diggs does. The rush today, and the quick throw to the left was another example of trying to get him going. The long pass to him over the top today looked like he was running fast, but not sprinting. I think he's got a lingering injury where he can go, but can't cut like he could in the early part of the year.
  8. I thought Jones was back in there today after injury, but it's Zappe
  9. Jones gets it out quickly, but the team has already given up for the year. But you know they want to rain on our parade. I still think the Bills come out and take care of business in important game.
  10. Got to win one for Marv this year.
  11. Take the Eagles out and put the 49ers in that place and you have the 4 best teams in the league. Love those guys!!
  12. Hyde against the Dolphins is huge. He and Poyer have been successful against Tua since he started, and McD does well to confuse him.
  13. Yeah, I'd say he'll be on a pitch count, maybe coming in on 1st/2nd down for run defense. Or 3rd and long to anchor the middle. But it will be great to see he and Joseph both stuffed in the middle. Legs should be in good shape, but with a pec injury, he probably lost some upper body mass.
  14. For me it was seeing a few interviews with Burrows. He's genuinely a creepy, unlikeable guy. I like Boyd and Tee Higgins, and I think Chase and Burrows are both really great players. But they quickly turned into a completely unlikable group.
  15. The good news is that you can still piss in the bathroom sink for another 4 years. But after that, nothing is guaranteed.
  16. I think we went into a game where they had a new offense and defense, so there was little prep we could do. The gameplan was vanilla, and it worked against some guy named Stick and the interim coaching staff. If we don't fumble/throw a pick, it's a runaway game for us in the 2nd half.
  17. Sherfield, too. At this point, those two might be doing more for the offense than they ever have by laying down some solid blocks.
  18. They're all at a team building meeting in Bora Bora.
  19. Good point. Parsons rushes from the right and Josh does a good job stepping around it from that direction. But this is my biggest matchup for this game. Hopefully Knox just stays on the line and shadows Parsons wherever he goes for the double team.
  20. I'd rather he go to Kincaid 9 out of 10 times, but that was probably the one time that he should have glanced at Gabe.
  21. Yeah, the Cook wheel routes caught them off guard and worked great (since he caught the ball this game). I doubt that same play will be there going forward. But it could showcase some of Brady's creativity if we run it as a fake and throw it elsewhere, knowing that other teams will key on it. These last few games will be interesting to watch unfold.
  22. I hope they look outside the team for the next OC. Brady is on game 3 in his honeymoon phase. He's doing well, but the rest of the season will be harder for the offense with the game tapes rolling in.
