  1. There was a window of time where this was true. The problem now is the contract. Once you find a QB and pay him 20mil a year, he either has to perform like Brady or Manning (rare talent to make their RBs and WRs better) or you cant afford to pay the playmakers around them.
  2. Great article. I love the part about using him for a decoy and later in the game, actually throwing the swing pass to him. We saw that on the TE screen to Clay a couple weeks ago. Shady lined up in the backfield, motioned out to the slot, and they fake the swing pass to him and hit Clay on the other side of the field for a nicely set up screen. 4th qtr, same play but a swing pass to Shady with Clay as the decoy. Something that we've all been screaming at the carousel of OCs to do for years with backs like Spiller and Fred. Glad to see it happening with Shady.
  3. I dont want to see him hurt the guy, I just feel like Kiko against the run can be exploited. We saw it first hand in the second half of his rookie year, and the trend continues with his overpursuit or lack of vision. At the same time, I dont want to see a bunch of screens and short passes because hes really good at defending those. Nothing malicious here, I just wouldnt mind some vindication for the McCoy/Kiko trade to the tune of a few big runs.
  4. I want to see Felton put a hat on Kiko this Sunday and McCoy go for 50.
  5. I guess it depends on how bad of a break and all of that, but I wouldnt think that he would be effective doing things like grabbing people and pushing. Mario was ineffective for a good 1/2 season when he had a hand/wrist injury. I remember him saying how even a small injury in the hand can really affect your game on the dline.
  6. My first thought too. Youd think doctors wouldnt clear someone who breaks a bone a couple days before a game, regardless of who it is.
  7. You just blew my mind, man!
  8. Love the moxie. Screw Chip, go Bills!
  9. Im pretty sure that 4merper4mer already told us in week 1 that the Dallas game would be a good one to lose. Not sure why its such a surprise to everyone.
  10. He's also not sealing the end like he has the past 2 seasons. He was automatic in that regard, even when he wasnt getting pressure. Not so much this year, IMO.
  11. He kind of praised Lawson. He said that he played every position on the field Sunday. And thats how I view Lawson, too. He's a smart, utility player for the LBs and DLine. He's pretty solid but, when hes forced to make an instinctive play or athletic play, he seems to come up short. He'd be a great rotational player but as a starter, I think he lacks playmaking ability.
  12. Murray had a great season, but I feel like quite a few backs would have had a great season behind the line they had last year. There were times that the line simply dominated games for Dallas. DM would be 8 yds deep before being touched. Philly just isnt the place for him. Chip's offense calls for elusiveness, which isnt DMs strong suit. He was spoiled last year, IMO.
  13. High def cameras in the 'Wings' parking lot. Theres a chick giving it up to guys wearing Bills jerseys.
  14. Not to mention a guy with a bad heart, on a play where he may have to fight for something.
  15. It looks like the dude is wearing a Harvin jersey though. #18 or is that 10? Ive watched the video about 40 times but cant make it out.
  16. At least this is better than the guy who fell in the creek or the one who fell off the second level last year. Even our drunken shenanigans have improved this year.
  17. Do you think this was pregame or postgame? I like to do my skank bangin' pregame, so I can get on here and B word after the game.
  18. The ball seems to be bouncing Carolinas way for sure. Ive watched a handful of their games this year and they make big plays at the right time. They also make zero mistakes, it seems. In the past, they've been a paper tiger and had the benefit of a weak schedule or division, but this year, theyre for real. I expect to see them representing the NFC in the super bowl this year.
  19. Cierre is actually a city in France, you dolt. But nice try.... Its pointless talking about him anyway. He tore his ACL. Mike Gillespee was activated from the PS this week. Interested to see what hes got.
  20. I think he spells it Syria, but I didnt want to get the thread moved to PPP.
  21. Anybody left on the waiver wire who has been holding out looking for a playoff contender to sign with? Preferably someone who is fooled easily?
  22. So he's probably not what Rex is looking for this week then... what about his lacky, Dizzy Gillispee?
  23. My guess is that Sierra Woods gets another shot at the title.
