  1. I know about the wind & the raid, but they sputtered opening day and last year obliterated Miami through the air. Josh was okay that game, as was the offense and yep a 35-0 shut out. But then I'd say look at what others have done vs. Miami (particularly Tampa Bay). Pitt really ground them to a halt. The offense has been very good, but nowhere near their best so far. Yes nitpicking, but I see significant room for improvement & as for the defense, not sure they could be playing any better
  2. They had one dominating performance vs. Washington and played well vs. KC. I thought too vs. KC they stumbled in the third quarter (remember back when that was an issue?), and frankly were very good, but not at their best. I think Diggs is lagging behind last year, Beasley is an enigma & Davis maybe playing injured. Sanders & Knox have been good. Josh was mediocre (or bad) vs. Pitt, played so so vs. Miami and average vs. Houston. I know the expectations are high and funny that we can nitpick, but I'm waiting for a game like those last year vs. Seattle, Denver or SF. Forecast Monday is great vs. Tennessee and want to see an air show......
  3. And that was the RTP after the bogus Holding call that cost the bills a first down.
  4. That is what I keep saying. They've been good, not great. Heck only 26 passes vs. KC. 300+ passing only 2X's. Davis not showing a leap (may be injured), Beasley has had 1 good game and Diggs behind his 2020 #'s. Knox & Sanders have performed.
  5. Absolutely right, first time in the history of the NFL that has happened!!!!! Geez!!!!!🤣 Allen bought time, rolled out and threw a 40+ yard strike semi-across his body. Watched the LAC Herbert highlights yet? Those are OPEN RECEIVERS!!!!!!
  6. No you watch the game, can't have double coverage on every player. Diggs turned him inside out, which good receivers do. Allen bought time and Knox got behind him and a great pass on the run. Btw watch the Herbert highlights? Players way more open than the Bills. Maybe the Browns defence is worse?
  7. I didn't get it either. Seemed Diggs lost focus or concentration for a second.
  8. Never jump the gun. Looks like a great schedule, but the Steelers game too looked like a romp. Who jumped on the pre-season 11-6 betting odds? And I think the offense has plenty of room for improvement.
  9. Again look at the completions. Knox made one contested catch and another was a rope by Allen after extending a play. Diggs turned Sorenson around, Sanders too on another TD dart, and I think a nice Moss catch & run well set up. BTW Mahomes missed a wide open Kelce on a pass that would have gone for 40+ too. Can't blame Allen for making great downfield passes. If it was 22 completions for 440, that would have been impressive!!!!!!😜
  10. Again look at who the Chiefs have played too. Chargers, Ravens, Bills, Browns & Philly..... I'd say 4 of them are well above average offenses (and Philly isn't bad either).
  11. Just saw the replay and how that was called a hold is beyond me (and agreed would have made the call the next play moot). The Mahomes RTP would have given the Bills first down at the KC 32 (as it was 4th down).
  12. I just saw the Morse non-hold on the Allen run that would have been a first down. Unbelievable that a flag was thrown there. The late hit was questionable, but then again another KC player took two steps afterwards to make sure he hit Allen too. Juxtapose that with the 4th down late hit on Mahomes, which was garbage and would have given Bills possession well inside KC territory (32 yard line). Now I keep asking how KC wasn't called for a single penalty on Defense (except that Roughing the Passer call).
  13. Again there are blown coverages every game. Want blown coverages, see Herbert's long TD passes Sunday (above). That is blown coverages and no one within 15 yards. Are we calling Diggs turning Sorenson around blown? Dawson working himself free after Allen evades coverage, extends a play and throws a perfect pass blown? The other pass to Knox for 35 where he was covered? The TD frozn rope to Sander s again blown coverage? Allen completed 15 passes and all were on the money (Moss & Singletary dropped passes and a few uncalled DPI's too).
  14. Again if KC's defense was so bad against a top five offense, then assess Indianapolis or the Ravens last night or LAC's, the Browns, Miami's??? How about LAR vs. Arizona or anyone's vs. Dallas. As said they only had one penalty on defense and Allen completed <60% of his passes. Allen made great passes (and runs).....
  15. Gordon plays Offense, not Defense. The Chiefs Defense was called for one penalty all game.
  16. Just to juxtapose, here is Justin Herbert vs. Cleveland. The Browns' defence made KC's look great. Herbert played great, but the highlight reel doesn't show one difficult pass, catch or any defense by the Browns. Particularly note the two long TD's....
  17. Huh???? Only penalty on KC defense that the Bills benefited from was the Roughing the Passer... Is that clearer????
  18. No they didn't. Only penalty called on KC defense was roughing the passer. If there was a pi, it was declined. Tell me when?
  19. He ran away from pressure, multiple looks, wr's we're blanketed. No penalties on their defense outside roughing the passer. He also had to make some quick throws.
  20. Anyone see the simple long passes Herbert completed vs. a good Cleveland defense? Allen had to work and threw darts.
  21. They were facing a high powered offense. They kept the WR's in check (7 completions). Allen threw for <60% and they brought significant pressure. The Bills punted 4 times, were forced a few 3 & outs and db's broke up passes too. Allen had trouble at times too with reads. The only penalty they got on Defense was that Roughing the passer. Allen threw lasers to Sanders, Knox & Diggs. The Bills offense should throw for a minimum of 300/gm and they have weapons everywhere. I know the Chiefs D is not good, but they've played a tough schedule and looked not bad yesterday against a top 5 offense in the league.
  22. I forgive you for leaving...... Wet, crowded, uncomfortable and no idea when the game would resume. Sorry I'm not as hearty as some, but am a Bills fan. Frankly the Bills dropped some balls, got no calls on offense and I thought KC's defense played well. Allen made spectacular passes (btw look how open the Chargers receivers were on their TD's vs a better Cleveland defense). Allen hasn't played his best, the wr's catches are down at this point and last two weeks have been played in rain & wind.
  23. Rodgers or Mahomes do that and replay after replay. Didn't appreciate it until now. Just a ho hum 35 yard completion when it happened.😜
  24. People just don't appreciate some plays he makes. Then they will comment on a missed throw or read. Sometimes expectations exceed the results.
  25. And if COVID protocol hits the Bills, Cole will be blamed. Brought it upon himself.
